The latest version of Genshin Impact started with a powerful event called Summertime Odyssey, which brought back the Golden Apple Archipelago island for players to rediscover. With a new set of characters, The Event is about stepping into these characters’ mirages in the form of a domain and helping them rise to the challenge.
On the second day of the Summertime Odyssey event in Genshin Impact, the Stirring Strings part of Islands is released, and it’s all about Rock ‘n’ Roll musician Xinyan. While helping Rock Star in his own domain, the group encounters a Blazing Heart that desperately needs Glacial Spring Water to refresh its vocal cords.
How to clear water veins and get glacial spring water in Genshin impact
As the group begins their journey within Xinyan’s domain, they come across a dying Blazing Heart that asks them to obtain a Glacial Spring Water. Xinyan of course accepts and Blazing Heart explains that for this the group must clear the water veins on Broken Isle.
To clear the water veins, players must leave Xinyan’s domain and follow the water’s trail as it moves, which will lead them to the right destination.
Along the way, traps will appear, so players will need to destroy them and continue following the water trail.
After the obstacle, there is a small puzzle to solve. By doing so, the barrier that seals the door will be removed and players will be able to continue inside the cave. Inside, travelers will encounter another dead-end hurdle. There, they can read a note from Albedo left during his last visit, stating how beautiful the scenery and sound are.
The new water trail will go up the mountain and players must continue to follow it. Finally, the water fountain will appear and players will be able to solve another smaller puzzle next to it in order to use it.
After filling the fountain again, players can draw water, preparing the bottle for Blazing Heart back in Xinyan’s domain.
This won’t be the last time the group will have to clean the waters off the mountains. After this mission, players will have to clear more spring water and climb more mountains. As Xinyan wakes up from her memory when Yun Jin and Xiangling surprised Rock Star on her birthday, she expresses her feelings to the party about cleaning two veins of water flowing through the mountains.
Realizing that not all of the veins can be unlocked, the group returns to Blazing Heart and asks for help, which redirects them to the Frozen Soul upstairs. Speaking with the latter reveals that there are, in fact, two other blocked veins in the remaining mountains that need to be fixed or else Xinyan won’t be able to execute.
Genshin Impact is available for mobile, PC, PS4 and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
