Genshin Impact Regions
The continent of Teyvat is divided into seven main nations, each of which praises a different god and has its own defining element. Mondstadt is one of the first regions the player will encounter in Genshin Impact. This nation worships the god Barbatos, known in Teyvat more commonly as the God of Liberty, one of the original members of the Seven, the pantheon of gods. Inspired by German culture and architecture, Mondstadt is filled with green plains, windmills and cobbled streets. Mondstadt is home to the Anemo element.
The most prosperous nation Genshin Impact, Liyue is known for its busy harbor and harbor area. The citizens of Liyue worship Morax, the God of Contracts, who was also one of the original members of the Seven alongside Barbatos. Liyue’s associated element is Geo, which grants rock-based powers to the user. Where the people of Mondstadt revere freedom above all else, the citizens of Liyue are far more concerned with the concept of a contract, a legally binding promise.
chapter 2 of Genshin Impact sees the player enter Inazuma, a collection of small islands that create an archipelago. The center of culture and the arts, Fontaine possesses the element of Hydro, and its people worship the God of Justice. In addition to having some of the best entertainment facilities in Teyvat, Fontaine is also home to a mysterious power system, although experts say supplies from that fuel source are dwindling.
The people of Natlan worship Murata, who oversees the Pyro element, one of Teyvat’s most powerful and devastating elements. Inspired by Russian architecture and culture, Snezhnaya is the last of Teyvat’s main nations. The citizens of this region adore Tsaritsa, the holder of the Cryo element. Unlike the other gods, Tsaritsa is in control of her own army, the Fatui, a highly religious group that can border on violence. Snezhnaya is locked in a state of constant winter, with blizzards that never cease.
