Apex Legends It’s already in the ranked second division of season 13, and while it might be hard to believe, another season of the game is expected to arrive next month. Over the past couple of months, Season 13, known as Saviors, has brought a lot of new content to the battle royale, as well as introducing a limited-time event called the Awakening Collection Event, which introduced a new heritage to Valkyrie. Despite these highs, there were a number of lows that prevented the experience from being everything players had hoped it would be.

Recently, gamers have faced a wide range of issues while playing Apex Legends. To Respawn Entertainment’s credit, she has tried to fix issues affecting players. For example, they previously shipped an update that attempted to resolve input lag on Xbox Series X and S consoles. Additionally, the developer recently shipped another patch to fix issues with Loba’s Bracelet skill and fix registration issues. However, according to some members of the Apex Legends community, this latest update may have done more harm than good.

After the release of a July 13th update to Apex Legends, players began to face new problems in battle royale. Specifically, players have complained of difficulties connecting matches. Also, some noted that if they were able to connect to a game, they would experience an almost “unplayable” lag. Some players even took to Reddit to express their frustrations. For example, a user known as Dwheeler593 made a post that pointed out the issues they claimed to have experienced since the game’s most recent update, while asking if others had experienced the same thing.


In response to this question from Dwheeler593, several players stated that Apex Legends it was unplayable for them too. One player even noted that he tried to play a game using the no fill option but was unsuccessful. Meanwhile, another Reddit user Jakescott98 noticed that they couldn’t get past the main menu screen.

It is worth mentioning that these types of connection problems are nothing new to Apex Legends, as previous seasons have occasionally seen these types of complications arise. However, they seem to be particularly frequent for some players at the moment. Regardless, these issues hamper the gaming experience and make it difficult to enjoy the gameplay.


Additionally, these connection issues come at an inopportune time for Respawn Entertainment as frustration between Apex Legends community has been increasing as a number of complications have affected the game. In fact, some have begun calling for a “No Apex August” boycott of the game. Unfortunately, the issues that players claim are arising from this July 13th update will likely only cause more frustration for the player base. It looks like only time will tell how long it will take for the developers to fix these connection issues and if some fans will actually boycott. Apex Legends.
