If you are a fan of Various Daylife, you can enjoy another game from the same developer team: Octopath Traveler. This RPG combines a retro style with a modern graphical aesthetic while telling a compelling, multi-layered story that you will love to get lost in.
Octopath Traveler lets you play as eight unique characters, each with their own skills and abilities to master. You progress through the game by fighting in turn-based battles and making decisions that can affect the final outcome of your quest.
7/8 Triangle strategy
Another Square Enix RPG, Triangle Strategy is set in a war-torn medieval fantasy world. Fans of Various Daylife will enjoy the strategy and camaraderie it takes to play Triangle Strategy. The story moves faster than in Various Daylife, but still contains many interesting characters and challenging combat situations.
The game revolves around gaining the trust of allies and engaging in tactical turn-based combat. The story branches out in multiple directions, giving you plenty of choice in where the game takes you. It is an exciting game that you will want to play again and again.

Rune Factory 5 has a similar hybrid genre to Various Daylife: slower simulation meets action-adventure combat. If you enjoy the mix of real life and RPG quest in Various Daylife, you will probably also enjoy Rune Factory 5. Moreover, the goals of the two games are the same: protect your city from enemies.
In Rune Factory 5, you take care of your growing farm and town, while enjoying all that life has to offer in Rigbarth. However, you must also rise to defend your city, embark on adventures to solve mysteries and take down monsters that threaten your safety. It’s a brilliant mix of farming simulation and fantasy adventure.
5/8 Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Different Daylife requires you to team up with your allies in battle, which is why Xenoblade Chronicles 3 might be a great alternative game to try. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 follows a team of six heroes on opposite sides of the war, who must work together to uncover the true evil behind their conflict. Part of the strategy (and fun) of the game is for the characters to work together to fuse into powerful Ouroboros.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is an epic experience and you’ll love getting to know the characters you battle with and alongside. In addition, the DLC content is robust, adding even more gameplay to an already rich game.
4/8 Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Fire Emblem: Three Houses also breaks some conventions like Various Daylife. The Fire Emblem series is known for its tactical turn-based combat style, but Three Houses adds an extra twist to the story: you start in a school. Like many RPGs, you forge alliances that will come in handy later.
You can also choose between three different paths, with each option giving you a robust and long-lasting gameplay experience. You’ll no doubt want to replay the game to see where a different path has led. It’s a fantastic game to get lost in.

Various Daylife players can enjoy Wildermyth, another RPG. Set in a storybook world, Wildermyth takes you on a classic fantasy quest, starring intriguing heroes with their own unique personalities. If you enjoy building your settlement in Various Daylife, you will appreciate the goal of Wildermyth: to protect your land from monsters.
Just like in Various Daylife, Wildermyth offers you choices that affect your progress through the game. However, this game takes it one step further and constantly changes the story based on your decisions. This means that no two play-throughs of Wildermyth are the same. It’s a fresh take on the RPG genre.
2/8 Dragon Quest XII
If you like the mysterious aspect of Various Daylife, you will love playing Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. This fantasy RPG has a ton of gameplay to experience and promises hours of entertainment as you travel across the land to discover the secret behind your past.
Dragon Quest XI uses turn-based combat, such as Various Daylife. The game also lets you slow down a bit by visiting the retro 16-bit world of Tickington. You will also have to work with allies to succeed, just like in Various Daylife.

With Symphony of War, you can create the ideal army to settle a terrible conflict in your war-torn country. If you like the team building aspect of Various Daylife, you will love the aim of this game. In Symphony of War, you can choose from dozens of unique warriors to build your squad of warriors.
Just as Various Daylife has a variety of jobs that define your fighting style, Symphony of War has a plethora of character classes that define your fighting style. Symphony of War’s campaign is long, and with so many choices to make as you build your squad, you’ll have plenty of reasons to play it over and over again.
