All classes to choose from in Steelrising

In Steelrising you have to make an important choice at the start of the game. You have to choose your class. There are four to choose from: Alchemist, Bodyguard, Dancer and Soldier.
Here you will find all the important information about each Steelrising class and which one best suits your playstyle.
Alchemist

This is a light weapon class. A special move called Invocation of Ice that is activated by pressing L2 on PlayStation or LT on Xbox allows you to imbue your weapon with Frost for a few seconds.
You get the glass core weapon which deals with 45 Damage and Alchemical Resistance Vial.
This Steelrising class targets elemental damage such as fire, frost, and electrocution. Using these alchemical weapons works best with an Alchemist class.
In addition, you get +3 points in the Elemental Alchemy skill and +2 points in Engineering. Elemental Alchemy increases alchemical and elemental damage and resistance. Engineering increases your armor and the effectiveness of alchemical effects and increases your chance of finding loot.
bodyguard

Bodyguard wields a heavy weapon and his special ability is Block. It allows you to easily block attacks by holding L2 on PlayStation or LT on Xbox.
Your weapon is a Body of Work with 74 damage. An item for this class is the Petrification Grenade. Allows you to temporarily immobilize the enemy.
You rely on your strength so that your attacks are slower but more powerful. You also have the most durability than other classes.
This class gains +3 points in the Endurance skill which increases your health and balance, and +2 points in Engineering. Engineering increases your armor and the effectiveness of alchemical effects and increases your chance of finding loot.
Dancer

Steelrising’s Dancer class has a light weapon, but can also use the Block ability by holding L2 on PlayStation or LT on Xbox.
This class has armored fans with 52 damage and also has a flame grenade used to ignite enemies.
Dancers are very durable and mobile. Your play style is based on linking attacks, but you also have those fans who can turn into a shield for some defense. After a series of successful attacks, you have a chance to immobilize enemies and hit a critical hit.
This class gains +3 points in agility, increasing your immobilization damage and physical damage. Plus, you get +2 points for Vigor, which increases your overall stamina and critical hit damage.

Soldier

The Soldier is a class with the heaviest weapons, the Gribeauval Halberd with 64 damage. However, the special move is a Ranged Attack by pressing L2 on PlayStation and LT on Xbox.
In addition, you get the Explosive Grenade which throws a projectile that can knock down an enemy.
As a Soldier, you rely on heavy and powerful physical attacks. This class gets +3 points in Strength and +2 points in Strength. Power increases your overall physical damage and impact. Strength increases your overall stamina and critical hit damage.
What is the best class in Steelrising?
It all depends on your favorite play style. If you like fast-paced combat with some defensive skills, Dancer might be the best Steelrising class for you. It allows you to stay mobile but gives you that Block ability for defensive purposes. A good mix of light physical damage with some flame grenades to back that up with elemental damage.
The other lightweight class is the Alchemist. You will use truncheons and a ton of elemental damage to get rid of your enemies. It’s a great class for anyone who wants a more tactical playstyle and want to use alchemy to their advantage.
Bodyguard is the tank class with shielding ability and the most durability of all characters. A great class if you want to progress through the game.
And last but not least there is the Soldier. It’s a bit of a hybrid class with strong melee attacks, but the ability allows you to keep your distance. It’s a very versatile style of play, so if you want an all round lesson, this is the best class in Steelrising for you.
