MLB The Show Legends of the Franchise

Recent programs in MLB The Show 22 like Back to Old School and Field of Dreams, players have only had a few boss reward options to choose from after earning at least 100,000 XP, and one choice was mostly obvious compared to the other. As a result, there was less excitement in the community and the release of Madden 23 in the same time frame caused some players to consider giving up MLB The Show 22 earlier than planned. Legends of the Franchise, which has 30 players with a 99 Overall rating for players to grind for, has allayed much of that concern, allowing players to earn 18 out of 30 players by playing the game and earning XP.

The Hank Aaron, Ivan Rodriguez, and Andre Dawson cards are all among the top ten cards available in Diamond Dynasty, with several others scattered across the top 25. In addition, fans of players like Ozzie Smith and Tony Gwynn, legends that don’t. doesn’t quite fit the power meta MLB The Show 22will love that these players have been given the highest power attributes they’ve even gotten on a map, making them a viable option for players who want to finally be able to use these players in their lineup.

MLB The Show 22 Events and Topps Now Collection

Christian Yelich has one of the sweetest swings in both Major League Baseball and MLB The Show 22, and his 499-foot home run this season is being celebrated with a 99 Overall card packed with power. Yelich’s card is a Topps Now card that players get when they collect 105 Topps Now cards, which can be obtained in MLB The Show 22 monthly program and the in-game marketplace. Yelich has three-digit power across the board, including the maximum rating of 125 against right-handed pitching, making this Topps Now Yelich card an elite card in MLB The Show 22, even before players have high-end speed or contact in account.

A new event tied to the Legends of the Franchise Featured Program was also launched late last week, featuring two 99 Overall cards as a reward for collecting wins in the legends-only event games. At 15 wins, players get a 99 Overall Finest Collection Bert Blyleven, showing off his 1974 season with the Minnesota Twins, and at 20 wins in the event, gamers get a 99 Overall Signature Series David Justice to add to their lineup. At 88 hits per nine innings, the Blyleven card won’t help many Diamond Dynasty pitching rotations, but will help fill some collections as a valuable Finest Collection series card. Justice, on the other hand, has excellent contact scores and good power, with an elite vision that makes it easier to spot pitches.

Jimmy Rollins Collection

For players who absolutely must have every card in the game, San Diego Studio also released a new Super Collection last week with a 99 Overall Jimmy Rollins as a collectible reward. Currently the best card in the game, the 2007 Finest Collection Jimmy Rollins card can be obtained by completing 18 other collections and earning the tickets for each. It will require hundreds of cards and possibly some cash, but for highly committed players, the Rollins card will be a dominant addition to their Diamond Dynasty ranges.

With every contact and power attribute over 100, Rollins is one of the most elite hitters in the game, and his vision rating of 119 makes it easy for players to identify pitches to hit. Add to that Rollins’ elite speed at 99 in all three attributes and diamond-level defense at shortstop, and he’s a card that will deal serious damage in Diamond Dynasty. Super collections are hard to fill MLB The Show and should bring really valuable rewards, and the Finest Collection series that Jimmy Rollins provides for players as the map is currently the highest ranked player in Diamond Dynasty.

MLB The Show 22 is now available for PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
