One of the oldest and most notable celebrity cameos in gaming came from The Sims. Players who threw really big parties had a chance to let this popular talk show host join the proceedings.

It’s the really unexpected nature of Drew Carey’s looks that makes him such a perfect pick for this list. So many people playing The Sims had no idea he even existed in the game until reports came in about this Easter egg.

9 Hideo Kojima (Cyberpunk 2077)

Very few developers go beyond their role to become bona fide celebrities in the video game industry. Such is the case with Hideo Kojima, who is easily one of the most recognizable names in the video game industry.

This persona makes a brief appearance in Cyberpunk 2077, a game known for its many cameos with various content creators and the like. In the “The Heist” mission, players are given an option to visit a bar where Kojima just hangs out with his friends.

8 Conan O’Brien (Death Stranding)

Conan O’Brien is one of the most popular and successful talk show hosts of all time. His presence on nighttime television will be sorely missed after his departure from a show that made him such an icon.

Clueless Gamer was one of his many segments that became very popular on the Conan show. He revealed that he was part of a game called Death Strandingappear in a pretty hilarious and memorable side quest in the game.

7 Gary Coleman (Post 2)

Gary Coleman is one of the most popular child actors of all time, and it’s a shame to see how his life turned out after his early years of success. One of his more unusual appearances comes in Mail 2.

Appearing as himself, Gary Coleman shows up at a mall for a meet-and-greet session. Faithful to Mail 2‘s signature comedy sort, he’s quite rude and rude, almost forcing players to vent their frustration at him with one of the many weapons in their arsenal.

Kojima is the only person to appear twice on this list, which shows just how popular this video game author really is. His work on Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain was celebrated by the masses even though he left Konami before realizing his full vision with this game.

5 Buzz Aldrin (Mass Effect 3)

Mass effect 3‘s ending was quite controversial and left many fans unhappy. It’s a shame, as an otherwise great game stalled due to the disappointment many players felt towards the end and took away a lot of its achievements.

One thing many players didn’t realize is that the final monologue is recited by Buzz Aldrin himself, the second man to ever step on the moon. It’s really surprising that not many people know this!

Stan Lee’s cameos in Marvel products have been a constant since eternity. The many Marvel movies made these cameos extremely popular in their movies, and the game followed suit.

While playing Marvel’s Spider-Man, players get a scene where MJ and Peter meet at a restaurant. The interaction is quite good, and it all ends with the owner of the restaurant, Stan Lee himself, sharing how he considered this couple his favorite when they were still together.

1 Logic (The Last Of Us Part 2)

Logic is a well-known rapper who is known as a huge fan of PlayStation. So Sony decided to give him a chance to be part of the PlayStation family by appearing in The last of us part 2.

He appears as one of the Rattlers that Ellie finds hanged in part of the game. His appearance is quite short, with his arrogance leading to his death after trying to get Ellie bit by a tied up Clicker.
