Like his inspiration, pokemon, Temtem is a creature collecting MMO game in which players can test their might against other players and Dojo Masters. Through the regions in tame’In the open world of Airborne Archipelago, players must complete the area’s Dojo and defeat the Dojo Master who lives there.
The Mokupuni Dojo is the second Dojo players will encounter in the early stages of Temtem. It must be cleared to move to the next region, Citerior Omninesia, as the players will need the Elevator Key, which is given as a reward once the Mokupuni Dojo Master, Rawiri, is defeated. This guide describes how to bypass the log platform puzzle in the Mokupuni Dojo to reach Rawiri and the six Temtem he will use in battle, with their weaknesses that players can exploit to win.
How do you reach Rawiri, the Mokupuni Dojo master?
When players first enter the Mokupuni Dojo, they will notice that there are some moving log platforms above lava pools directly in front of them. Players must time their moves carefully to move on to the next section
If players are not fast enough, they will get stuck in the bushes surrounding this puzzle and will be teleported back to the start of the Dojo. The grassy platforms will also trap the player meaning they will not be able to move and will be teleported back to the starting area.
There are more moving logs on the right side of this next section. Players cannot jump onto platforms with bushes on them, so they must memorize the patterns of the moving logs and time their movements. Once they reach the edge platform, they will see two chests guarded by two Temtem Tamers.
Fight the pair of tamers and open the two chests to get 2 medium crystals to sell and a powerful loquat. Once they’ve done this, they can intentionally fail their jumps to teleport back or jump back to the middle platform.
The left side of the middle platform is essentially the same as the one above: go over the fast-moving logs and avoid traps in the bushes to reach a few more tamers and two chests. Defeat these tamers to earn much-needed pansuns and open the two chests to get two Coolers and an Ice Cube.
From the middle platform, the player can finally advance to reach a set of four moving logs. This section will test the player’s patience as the trick is to wait for the battle moment before continuing.
Once they have gone through this tricky part, the player will finally have reached the Dojo Master, Rawiri.
The fight against Rawiri
Rawiri has six Temtem on his team and proves to be formidable enemies. Like the theme of the Dojo itself, three of Rawiri’s Temtem are Fire types, and two are Nature types. All of his Temtem have level ranges between 18 and 30. At this stage of the game, players should aim to have their main Temtem squad around level 25 or above to make sure this fight runs smoothly.
Temtem | Type | Weak points |
---|---|---|
tateru | Neutral | mental |
deendre | Nature | Fire, Toxic |
magmis | Firework | water, earth |
banana | Firework | water, earth |
to increase | Firework | water, earth |
Taifu | Nature | Fire, Toxic |
Players should make sure they have a decently leveled Water-type Temtem in their roster as these are super effective against Fire-types. Two often spawning Water Temtem from the first island, Deniz, are great for this fight: Saipat and Kalabyss. They both take less damage from Rawiri’s fire techniques and their water techniques deal double damage.
Players must also make sure to pick up the Ice Cube item from one of the earlier chests and equip it on one of their Temtem. This reduces the Fire type damage by 20%, which must be equipped on one of the player’s Nature Temtem if they have one, as Fire Temtem is strong against them.
Once players defeat Rawiri, he rewards them with 720 pansuns and the elevator key to reach the next location, Citerior Omninesia, and continue the game’s story campaign. In weekly rematches, they can also re-challenge Rawiri to get bonus items and rewards. A teleporter will also open, allowing players to bypass the annoying platform section.
Temtem is available to play on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
