Is Cyberpunk 2077 All Forgiven? (photo: CD Project)
The Friday Briefs page is sloppy about what Embracer spends its money on, so it looks like a reader is calling for the Splinter Cell remake to be scrapped.

No Second Chance I see a lot of people talking about Cyberpunk 2077 again now that the anime is out and the story is on the table. Had that mean now forgotten the launch that, or more importantly, the embarrassing way CD Projekt worked towards both its customers and employees?
I never bought that game. I’d rather not give the money to CD Projekt, but due to the recent growth in reputation, I’m wondering if it’s worth a visit. I don’t think they really learned anything from this incident.
They thought it would be a time of fire and no other publisher would ever release a broken video game. I don’t know, but in some cases I do. They started doing it just a few months after Cyberpunk 2077.
And now CD Projekt is talking about the better known The Witcher games to recover from their problems. But it doesn’t suit me. They were very happy, and they were able to rip everyone off and work their staff to death so they arranged a release date, and I don’t think this attitude should be rewarded. Just because they didn’t look exactly apologetic anymore, Caldron was a great apologist.
The long-term plan I don’t care if there’s a new St. John’s Church, but what interests me is when Embracer Group announces or releases something worth the huge sum of money they have lying around.
Over the years they have spent literally billions and yet what have they done for them? There’s no way to get a list of all his games – they have a lot of different publishers, but from what I can tell their biggest game is probably Saints Row, with other stuff like Biomutant and Darksiders. Somehow I doubt the EA is looking over their shoulder.
People talk about how Microsoft is going to make a big deal to deploy all their developers, I think we’ve already seen it on a small scale with Embracer. They have spent all this money and seem to have nothing for it and nothing will change anytime soon. I fear that many of these studios will soon be sold or broken.
Are you new and old. So they’re going to change the gameplay and story of Splinter Cell in the remake? I don’t want to ask stupid questions, but if you’re going to do that, why don’t you just try playing new games? It’s not like the first one is anything but a huge one (I’d rather enjoy a Chaos Theory remake), but a new game would be great.
If you change the whole thing about a game to make a remake, I think that’s a good sign you shouldn’t be making it. The story change was bad, but I don’t remember it that often I guess, but the mechanics of the game are better and more modern. What’s the point? Why play a remake looking for modern?
If you want to mimic old school, you need to play something modern. You can’t do that in one go. Tony T.
Lucasfilm Awakens So happy to hear that Lucasfilm plans to do more graphic adventure, I hope we see a new Maniac mansion. They were very experimental in the beginning; future sports games, fractal based games, an MMO (in 1986), military simulations, puzzle games and of course graphic adventures.
The only problem with what they’ve announced so far is that they’re all sequels or licensed games. I would love to see them announce the new IP and lose their weight and complete the transition to the Old Lucasfilm Games. I don’t care what it is, as long as it’s imaginative and unusual.
It’s strange, but is that this guy, right? Looks like he knows how to do his business? What on earth should Sony be waiting for? The only thing that doesn’t seem to matter is that they didn’t want to play a PlayStation 5 patch because they’re working on a remaster/remake that they want to sell for full price. But they wouldn’t be so transparently manipulative, would they?
It doesn’t seem common among publishers, but Sony needs to realize that the prices of their games aren’t popular and trying to distract customers probably isn’t worth it.
Or maybe there’s another explanation, er, they keep forgetting? I mean, I really don’t know how it could be otherwise. What a very rare situation.
As good as the price?: Two-step, “Splatoon 3” and “Largemaster”. I would give him a better chance. It sounds like you’ve just reached the Anarchy Battle, where the real meat of the game is. I haven’t even touched the single player, Salmon Run, or the new card game yet. Anarchy Battles has four forms of formation, each requiring different tactics. You know what you put into the game as a shooter. But once you’ve done what you can, try again.
Several of the Anarchy matches I’ve had are just as good as gaming. Hectic, tired, exciting and just unbelievably fun. My favorite is Tower Control, which never gets old. Love the new tri-stringer weapon for this, with its exploding arrows giving a superior tactical edge. Do you use these weapons? It blows things up again.
I really agree that at least in Japan the competition has been really successful. All ratings are fair if you don’t know there’s enough innovation from the first two titles and then it’s fair to say this is the best base game I’ve ever played. As for the previous games, I think the main point is that Nintendo hasn’t had much to do with its updates and large-scale DVD games. This is where the new stuff comes in. Is there anything from Nintendo about the update schedule? Ryan OD is available.
GC: Not yet, but the support for Splatoon 2 as seen after launch was excellent, so it has to be said.
Bleak Recommendation Just in case there’s a chance this week, the free Epic Games Store title is a really good Gloomhaven.
Highly recommend giving it a try too (not for all you really want to play x or Into the Breach games) for anyone with any interest in the game.
No quick switch I don’t think the next version of the Switch can be reopened tomorrow.
For me, however, the accuracy could be improved while being at least as powerful as an Xbox One or PlayStation 4. To achieve this with a reasonable battery life and at reasonable prices, in my opinion it is probably too unrealistic to expect it sooner than the end. 2024.
It’s just intuition about the price and the price. I’ve used Steam Deck as an example to counter those thoughts, but the current form factor, battery, and price don’t seem to be something Nintendo would do for (and so Valve admitted it had hit me a lot for the sake of that against that. prices to the market).
Not that I don’t think there’s a chance of an earlier release but I think it’s pretty amazing if a Switch 2 comes out in the next 18 months and that’s not the kind of guy looking for something more like a portable PlayStation 4. Panda is the third and largest of the vocal folks looking for something more akin to a portable PlayStation 4.
PlayStation 5 is Inbox’s new design. I can’t say it’s a terrible console, but then again, what do I know about it. I bought a US SNES two years ago and couldn’t look around.Chevy Malibu (ID)
Can you pronounce the word PlayStation 5 if you like the American SNES? You are the monster!
Sometimes my obsessive fan is a bit creepy, but I admit that the maps created by GTA six were an impressive work, although it seems completely useless. But to them for fun and speculation. Nozo nasz: Thanks for their luck and speculation.
This Week’s Hot TopicAfter this past weekend, Inbox on one of the best fantasy video games this week asks a related question: What’s your favorite sci-fi game?
It can be a licensed game if you want, but also try to include a game that started in video games. How big are you at science fiction – or how much difference do you make between relatively grounded settings and space fantasy?
The new inbox updates appear every weekday morning. During the weekend there are special hot topics. Reader letters are used for the merits of reading and can be edited for length and content.
You can also submit your own 500 to 600 word Reader feature at any time, either by email or through the Submit Script page. The next available weekend slot is the last.
