Thanks to today’s Ubisoft Forward event, Assassin’s Creed fans have a lot to look forward to, and a more advanced map of the direction the series will take than ever before. This is thanks to Ubisoft announcing several new games, in addition to a television show, a new platform, and more exciting new releases planned to come to the franchise.

With so much new content of various forms all flying around, it can be difficult to keep track of everything, or when everything will be released. Fortunately, even without specific release dates for the vast majority of content announced on Ubisoft Forward, the publisher still provided a roadmap for fans to keep up with all the new titles and projects coming to the franchise.

Here is every Assassin’s Creed project coming up, in order of when the projects are most likely to come out.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Final Chapter

Walhalla will receive its final DLC at the end of 2022, according to Ubisoft’s roadmap they released during Ubisoft Forward. The DLC will conclude Eivor’s saga and wrap up the remaining storylines in Walhalla.

The last chapter is a free update for Walhalla players, and includes an Eivor set to abandon Ravensthorpe and the Raven Clan in favor of “distant shores.” Wherever the adventure takes you, it’s sure to be a fitting epic slot for the Viking Assassin.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next standalone title in the series and is currently slated for release sometime in 2023. The game will feature a familiar face that players will be sneaking around, with Walhalla character Basim is going to take the lead in his own game.

Decades before the events of Walhalla, mirage will take place in Baghdad in the middle of the Islamic Golden Age, and players will follow Basim’s journey from young street thief to full-fledged Assassin. Ubisoft has stated that mirage will be more of a return to the original games, with a dense city with story and gameplay revolving around stealth and assassination, rather than the massive, open RPGs that have dominated the franchise lately.

Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade

Past miragethere is no official way to tell which one Assassin’s Creed project comes next as all other titles are listed as “one the horizon” in the Ubisoft roadmap and will not get an official release window. If we had to guess which project comes first after miragehowever it is probably the new mobile game, Codename Jade.

Located in ancient China, Jade is the only other Assassin’s Creed title shown on Ubisoft Forward with a trailer lasting more than a few seconds, in-engine game footage and a look at an Assassin character. Jade aims for an AAA Assassin’s Creed experience to mobile for the first time, where players can create their own Assassin characters, according to a report from VGC. Judging by the images shown on Ubisoft Forward, it’s clear that this game is in further development than several other projects, and it seems like a good bet to release in 2024 or 2025.

Assassin’s Creed Codename Red

Codename Red finally brings Assassin’s Creed to feudal Japan, becoming the next major “flagship” game in the franchise, similar to Walhalla or odyssey. Although it is possible that Red could come in 2024, it seems more likely that the title will come in 2025, two years after the release of mirage.

Given the two-year gap between the last two major competitions, Walhalla and odysseya similar gap and development period would make sense for Red. When it comes out, players will be able to fulfill their ninja dreams as the Assassin world clashes with Japan’s shinobis.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity

instead of a game, Infinity is a platform, or a “hub”, as Ubisoft calls it. This hub will be a place that connects the future Assassin’s Creed games, and from where players can access their Assassin’s Creed spell.

There’s no word on when Infinity will release, but it seems likely that Ubisoft will want the platform ready for use when their next big title is released. That could mean it will be released alongside Redor it can wait until the next major AC then release, connect the two games and show off Infinitythe intended use.

Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe

Hex looks like a big shift for Assassin’s Creed, given the horror aesthetic teased in the short trailer released for the game. The word “hexe” is a German word meaning “witch” or “witch” and judging by all those runes and the heptagram surrounding the creepy, twiggy Assassin’s Creed symbol, that code name looks exactly like the money.

Little else has been revealed about Hexbut Assassin’s Creed bigwig Marc-Alexis Cote called the game “a different experience in terms of game play and game structure.” He also said that the game is “a little further away”, but will eventually appear during Codename Red‘s active content cycle. Hex‘s release should also be the last one Infinity will become available.

Assassin’s Creed Codename Invictus

Invictus is one of the projects we know the least about, and it wasn’t even mentioned by name in the Ubisoft Forward presentation. However, it is mentioned in multiple reports and it will be Ubisoft’s attempt to bring multiplayer gameplay back into Assassin’s Creed as a standalone title. More than any other title, Invictus seems highly dependent on Infinity because it’s functional, meaning players probably shouldn’t expect the game before the AC hub has been officially released.

Assassin’s Creed Netflix series and mobile games

In addition to all the new video games announced in Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft has also announced that they will be making a mobile game in partnership with Netflix, which is an extension of their partnership that they previously revealed a few years ago when Netflix and Ubisoft originally announced the live -action Assassin’s Creed television series.

These projects are both in early development, leaving little indication of when they might be released. The release of the series and the Netflix mobile game are most likely more connected than others Assassin’s Creed release game.
