Cyberpunk: Edge Runners
In the Cyberpunk: Edge Runners section showed a new NSFW trailer for the anime new footage in a grand display of gory carnage and adult content. According to the anime’s creator, the series will become canon for the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, contains characters from the game and is a prequel to Cyberpunk 2077. The question “must you have played?” Cyberpunk 2077 to understand the show” was discussed alongside this information. Fortunately, the answer is no and you can enjoy whichever comes first without worrying about spoilers.
Studio Trigger creators of Killed La Killed, Promare and Little Witch Academy Having faithfully reconstructed Night City to make you feel at home, you will certainly be able to point out many locations from the game and even routes to where the characters go. Cyberpunk: Edge Runners will have an original story consisting of 30 minute episodes.
Earlier, both Studio Trigger and CD PROJEKT RED announced that Akira Yamaoka, best known for composing the Silent Hill games, will be composing the score for the show. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners also get their vote in 13 different languages: Czech, English, French, German, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (LatAm), Spanish (Spain), and Thai.
In Cyberpunk, Edgerunners meets a new cast of heroes and villains in Night City.
Finally, Netflix revealed some of the voice talents that will be featured in the English Dub version of Cyberpunk: Edge Runners. Here is a list of them below:

Cyberpunk 2077: Patch 1.6 (Edgerunners Update)
Patch 1.6 titled the Edgerunners update focuses on the new generation of Cyberpunk 2077, with solutions and new content. Before most of the features in the update were released, it was revealed that all future updates will be exclusive to PC, Stadia, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The last update for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be the 1.6 Patch, CD PROJEKT RED believes these versions of the game are in a good place.
Edgerunners Content
Regarding the Edgerunners update, it includes various gameplay fixes, free DLC and content from the Cyberpunk: Edge Runners animation. When it comes to content from the anime, players can discover secrets related to the show around Night City, including new equipment and features for the photo mode.

New Appearances, Weapons and Custom Modifications
The wardrobe gets a new feature added, allowing players to change the look of outfits without changing the armor stats. You can create up to six outfits with the items of clothing you own in each of the apartments or safehouses that V owns. New hairstyles have been added to character creation, which players can access when creating their character and via V’s mirror and visiting ripper documents.

Fixers have three new appearances for players to go through, they are titled Concrete cage trap, Desperate Measures and bad hangover. In addition to the new appearances, we get six new firearms and five new melee weapons. Here they are below:

Playable arcade game and extra goodies
That’s right in the 1.6 patch, players can now play a brand new minigame on an arcade machine. The game in question is called Roach Race, named after Geralt’s trusty steed Roach. You can access this minigame at the arcade machine in the Northside, Japantown and The Glen apartments. If you like the minigame, you can also download it on your phone via Android or IOS.
Climb the leaderboard to earn special prizes, including cash and items!
Cross-progression features are added so that your latest saves between platforms can be automatically uploaded to the cloud. This allows players to switch platforms and easily pick up where they left off. You can find more details about the cross-progression features and limitations here.
Finally, the photo mode gets some new features with the addition of Nibbles the cat. To do this go to the “Pose” tab and choose Nibbles in the “Character” section. This becomes part of the photo mode after V invites Nibbles to their apartment.

Cyberpunk 2077: Expansion – Phantom Liberty
Finally we got our first look at the upcoming expansion titled Phantom Liberty in the form of a teaser trailer. Not much detail was shown, other than that V may have joined some form of military faction that, as Johnny Silverhand said, “Is a bad idea”, so we may end up working for the bad guys. What we do know, however, is that: Keanu Reeves will return for the DLC, most likely Johnny Silverhand again.

Another topic about the upcoming expansion was that this might just be the only expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. Understandably, CD PROJEKT RED draws a line in the sand when discussing future content due to the game’s controversial launch. Hopefully, if the expansion is a success, the expansion will provide inspiration for more content.
Phantom Liberty is currently scheduled for 2023 and will be available for PC, Stadia, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Here’s the official teaser for the Phantom Liberty expansion below:
