Cult of the Lamb is not only the cult complex and the lands ruled by the four bishops. There are several other locations that the Lamb can visit to spread their message, and one of these is the dark dock known as Smugglers shelter.

Plimbo the Sailor is the NPC who lives in this mysterious little cove, and although he may seem alone, there are a few other small and mysterious inhabitants in this quiet sanctuary that the Lamb can meet.

How to find the smuggler’s sanctuary

The Lamb will first meet Plimbo during a random encounter in Anchordeep’s dungeon. He will tell the Lamb that he has some unique and rare items available for trade and resale, and he will mark the place on the map so that the Lamb can visit after they come out of their crusade.

This is not a place to find resources, not even to buy, but the Lamb can collect Divine Inspiration from Plambo’s little shrine after everything else is sold out.

There are no resources to be found in the sanctuary, such as seeds or wood, unlike other locations. By then, the Lamb should have quite the cult following and have a decent amount of money to spend.

  • Stone Kiosk. Every location in Cult of the Lamb has one where new tracking forms can be purchased. Which ones are available depend on the stage the Lamb has reached in their crusades.
  • Tarot cards. There is also a stand with tarot cards. If the Lamb finds certain items in the dungeon after seeing them here, the selection at the booth will change until they are sold out.
  • Blueprint Vending Booth. Plimbo also sells blueprints for new decorations and buildings for the cult complex. These are purely cosmetic embellishments, but they can still enhance the faith, devotion, and general happiness of cult members.

A Guide to the Smuggler’s Reserve

Don’t be fooled by how lonely this place looks. There’s more to this than just Plimbo and its pirate ship fish. Many creatures, great, small, good and evil, lurk in the dark shadows of the sanctuary. The Lamb has to come by at certain times of the day to find them all.

Plimbo and the red crown

Plimbo is not just a seller who sells his wares on the coast. He also has a few pieces of the Red Crown in his possession, which the Lamb can use to boost their strength and find new and more useful furs to wear for their dungeon crawls.

RELATED: Cult Of The Lamb: How To Find Eye Of Witness (And What To Do With It)The eye of the witness is a rare item that falls from certain powerful bosses waiting at the end of almost every dungeon, and Plimbo will ask the Lamb about it when they meet. The Lamb gets one every time they send one of these mighty enemies. Four are available to trade from Plimbo, making one complete crown and giving the Lamb another valuable fleece for Crusades.

The Wolf Quests

These secret missions are only available in the dark of the night, and one of the essential steps is available in Smugglers shelter. After the sun sets, walk to the end of the dock to the right of the screen and choose the “Peer Into The Darkness” action.

The Wolf will rise from the murky waters and ask the Lamb for a sacrifice. What he asks for depends on how many times the Lamb has come across this NPC, but it’s always something gruesome and filthy. As long as the Lamb fulfills his wishes, they are rewarded with four Red Crown Pieces and the Wolf follower form.

The crab follower form

It’s not something the player catches with the fishing mini-game or finds in Anchordeep. There’s a little crab hopping along the docks Smugglers shelter, and it moves fast. If the Lamb manages to capture it, it unlocks the Crab Follower’s form.

Most players don’t even know this secret form exists until they find it. It’s one of the many random secrets in the game that keeps things interesting even after all four bishops are defeated.

The snail shrine

Unlock one of the hidden follower forms by honoring the cute snail’s secret sanctuary. The Snail Shrines are simple pillars with snail statues on top, and there is one in all five locations. Collect five pieces of shell during the Crusades so that the Lamb can offer them to the statues in each region, including those in Smugglers shelter.

The statue is at the bottom left of the screen in Smuggler’s Sanctuary. The glowing red eyes make them more distinctive than simple decorations. When the Lamb has the shells in their inventory, the option is open to interact with the shrine. The final reward unlocks the Snail follower form.
