Ubisoft will deploy title update 1.6.1 for: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla today at 5pm PDT, featuring the second Tombs of the Fallen pack and the new Rune Forge. Patch notes are now available with the update, ranging from 1.6GB on PS5 to 11.9GB on Xbox Series X/S.
There are three new Tombs of the Fallen, each full of traps and puzzles. Players venture underwater and through lava, but what secrets do the Isu hold? Is the loot good? We’ll find out later today.
The new Rune Forge should be worth checking out for those who want to experiment with their builds. Unlocked once Ravensthorpe reaches level 4, it takes extras from gear and turns them into runes. It costs silver, but it applies to current armor and weapons. If you’re looking for a specific Rune, you’ll need to scour the world for its source.
Check out the full patch notes below. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gets another major update this year with The Last Chapter, closing Eivor’s saga. Stay tuned for more details on the release date in the coming months.
