I have considered starting with a twitch channel for a while. After all, I’m an actor who writes about video games. So I have the knowledge, the skills and the necessary equipment. Besides, I’m a talker. So I can easily keep the chat going.

Still, I do a bit of studying before starting Streamlabs because I feel like I can learn from other streamers and explore what makes them unique and engaging. Strangely enough, all this observation gave me clear ideas about who could make successful streamers in the video game multiverse. When I think of these characters, I know I would subscribe to their channel!

THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

4 Hatsune Mikuss

The first character that comes to mind when I think of streamers is Hatsune Mikuss. She is an important part of the internet culture befitting the world’s top Vtubers, such as Mirai Akari and Kizuna AI.

In addition, she can handle many requests. After all, as a Vocaloid, she can immediately learn music. This is, of course, a privilege that viewers should not abuse. Still, it would be funny to hear the world famous idol sing iconic music such as the jingle Pizza Bagel Bites.

Additionally, with close Cryptonloid friends like Kagamine Rin and Len, Kaito, Megurine Luka and Meiko, we would definitely see several guest appearances and collaborations on Miku’s streams. Maybe we can request that they remake JG Wentworth’s commercial!

Dear Sir, where am I going with this?

Forget it. I want Vocaloids to sing commercial jingles. That is it. That’s the channel.

3 Ken Masters

So there’s no easy way to say this, but we’re not sure what’s going on with Ken. Ever since his shaggy, faded look from Street Fighter 6 leaked, the web has been lit up with fan theories about divorce, death, depression and more Bad Luck Brian scenarios. If these theories prove true, Ken will need a new outlet (and possibly a new revenue stream).

Fortunately, Ken can transfer his fighting skills to Twitch. Fighting game streamers are popular. For example, Maximilian DOOD’s Twitch channel has over a million followers. And if any video game character could break through the techniques and strategies of a match, it would be Ken.

2 Isabelle

One of my favorite Twitch streamers is Damien Haas, known for his sketch comedy with Smosh and voiceover roles, including male Shez in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. He does a great job of building a community with his viewers while dictating clear guidelines that help everyone feel safe and engaged. And when he gets a present, Haas turns into an absolute cinnamon roll.

Although Haas is an accomplished gamer, streaming armorless Elden Ring has never pushed the toxic “Git Gud” gamer culture in the past. On the contrary, he proves that a gracious and engaging presenter is a better streamer than stunning an audience with technique.

So when I was looking for a video game equivalent to that energy, my mind went to Animal Crossing’s Isabelle. Although she is gentle, kind and polite, she is also one of the most influential forces in the series. Seasoned villagers know that her wisdom and knowledge keep island life in tip-top shape.

Did you know that Isabelle has engineering degrees from? nineteen universities!? She’s a genius!

In turn, imagine this wise, open, humble Shih Tsu hosting a Twitch stream where everyone feels welcome, safe and involved. We could all watch Isabelle play a calming game like PowerWash Simulator while recovering from a stressful day. Or maybe she’ll beat an Elden Ring charity stream! I know she’d get all my bells.

1 Deadpool

Okay, I’ve covered idol streamers, tech streamers, and sweet streamers, but what about absolutely chaotic streamers? While we’re looking for a real-life parallel, nothing can match the pandemonium that’s possible on a Deadpool current.

Picture it: One moment you’re playing Marbles to have the mercenary with a mouth threaten your nemesis. At another time, he plays Call Of Duty and asks other players about their favorite Bea Arthur quotes. Then he’ll be unronically brave as Sunny the Earth Pony in My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure, in which he celebrates the power of friendship. Deadpool would be the Ultimate Variety Streamer.

Most importantly, Deadpool won’t accept anyone’s biased nonsense. If a troll interrupted his stream with racist, misogynistic, capable, queerphobic nonsense, he’d rather roast them than put a bullet through Francis’ head. That’s an antihero I can get behind!
