Keeping students happy in two-point campus pays off! Happy students are more likely to pass their classes, make friends, and graduate at the end of their course. Unhappy students, meanwhile, will complain, fail their classes and eventually drop out. Players who want to run a successful university need to look at the happiness of the students on campus, and part of this is balancing personality types.
students in two-point campus have 16 possible personality types, all of which have different traits. Some of these traits are really helpful and the skills of certain students can be leveraged to make running a university a little easier. For this reason, Sandbox players may want to consider personality types when designing their dream universities.
Neutral
Courses to attract neutral students:
- scientography
- robotics
- Virtual Normality
- Internet history
- School of thought
- General knowledge
Neutral students, as the name suggests, sit nicely in the middle. Nothing about their personality stands out, and they can have different traits, both good and bad. Players will notice many “neutral” students on campus.
Rebel
Courses to attract rebel students:
- scientography
- robotics
- Musicality
- Virtual Normality
- Internet history
- Countercultural studies
- School of thought
- General knowledge
The Rebel ‘decides that rules are made to be broken. They are the unpredictable students of the bunch and may be more resistant to being told what to do.
On the plus side, they can occasionally fix things on campus, including emptying the trash cans every now and then.
SWOT
Courses to attract swots:
- scientography
- robotics
- Virtual Normality
- Internet history
- School of thought
- General knowledge
Swats love to learn, and they are the easiest to teach, allowing the player to focus on improving the campus and upgrading courses. They storm through the curriculum and enjoy spending their free time studying. These are probably the A+ students.
They may also have the ‘Wise Words’ trait, which allows them to help other students with their studies as well. Swats are quite handy to have around. They may also have a “Shy” personality trait, so social interactions can be difficult for them (and incredibly awkward to watch).
Class Clown
Courses to Attract Class Clowns:
- scientography
- Musicality
- Virtual Normality
- Internet history
- School of thought
- General knowledge
They are easily identified by their red noses and are nice to have around. They will improve the mood of other students by making jokes and acting crazy.
They may have the ‘Laughing Matters’ personality trait, which allows them to entertain other students. However, they also have drawbacks, including ‘Bin Blindness’. Class clowns are allowed to drop litter even if players place enough trash cans near vending machines and food stalls.
Gothic
Courses to attract Goths:
- scientography
- robotics
- Musicality
- Virtual Normality
- Internet history
- dark art
- School of thought
- General knowledge
Goths, with their recognizable pale skin and vampire fangs, adore anything dark. Players will see them sneaking around campus. They have the ‘Dark Aura’ trait, which makes other students happy. They can also be “inquisitive” and players will often find them in the library after hours.
Posho
Courses to attract Poshos:
- scientography
- robotics
- Virtual Normality
- Internet history
- Money waver
- school of thought
- General knowledge
Poshos are another student type that players can see from a mile away. They wear a chic suit (and complete the look with a monocle) and have a striking style.
They are handy to have around because they have the “Big Tipper” personality trait, which means they occasionally donate money to college.
chef
Courses to attract chefs:
Chefs come into play on the second level, Piazza Lanatra. They wear white chef’s clothes and can often be found in the kitchens.
They may have the personality trait ‘Nibbler’, which allows them to satisfy hunger by eating their homework, and ‘Comfort Baker’, who hands out free food to their fellow students. Players may not have to worry about having so many on-campus dining options with chefs around.
Cyborg
Courses to attract cyborgs:
Some robotics students are so excited about technology that they are willing to replace parts of their own bodies with robotic parts. Players will easily see them on the Mitton University Campus for this reason.
Cyborgs don’t have any unique personality traits, which makes them quite similar to “neutral” college students.
Dancer
Courses to attract dancers:
Players may encounter dancers if they choose to teach a musicality course. They roam the campus in leg warmers and enjoy a party at the Student Union. Dancers don’t have any unique personality traits, so they are quite similar to neutral students.
Knight
Courses to attract knights:
Unlocked in the Noblestead Campus, knights are quite easy to spot at a glance. They will roam the campus in their armor and players can often find knights in training on the Battle Grounds.
Knights have no specific personality traits, so they resemble Cyborgs and Neutrals. They tend to get injured often, so players will have to build a medical office to fix injuries like Knight’s Knee and the attractively named Rusty Bulge.
Musician
Courses to attract musicians:
Musicians can be trained in the recording studio and can be found learning how to play instruments or crammed into a recording booth as they work on their next hit single. Musicians can have the ‘Busker’ trait, which means they can play music on campus. Players may see them pull out a saxophone from time to time.
wizard
Courses to attract wizards:
Players will first encounter Wizards in Spiffinmoore. They can be trained in sorcery. Wizards wear pointed hats and cloaks, which are quite easy to spot.
Sorcerers can have ‘Wicked’ (when sad, they will use their powers for evil) and ‘Magic Touch’ (when happy, they can use their powers for good). It’s pretty important to keep Wizards happy on campus!
Spy
Courses to attract spies:
Spies are sneaking around campus and trying to blend into the background (but they usually fail). In the Gadget Lab they learn the tricks of the trade. Spies can have the “Secret Resources” trait, which means they can occasionally discover research projects. This means they are quite handy to have around.
Archaeologist
Courses to attract archaeologists:
Archaeologists can learn their craft when players take an Archeology course at Pebberly Ruins. Players can find them at an excavation site. Archaeologists have the ‘Silver Tooth’ trait, which means they can find artifacts on campus from time to time.
cheerleader
Courses to Attract Cheerleaders:
Cheerleaders are unlocked on the Fluffborough Campus. They’re pretty easy to spot in their uniforms, and they’re always around to boost the Jocks’ spirits. Cheerleaders have “school spirit,” a trait that allows them to give other students an energy boost. They are handy to have on hand if students are falling behind in their studies.
Jock
Courses to Attract Jocks:
Jocks can be trained at Cheeseball in Fluffborough. Players can watch them train on the Cheeseball field or train at the gym. Jocks have a ‘Run Faster’ trait which allows them to run faster when they’re happy, so it’s worth keeping them occupied and well fed.
two-point campus is currently available on PC, macOS, Linux, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox One X/S, and Switch.
