Players once again control Kratos and his son Atreus as they confront the Norse gods and Ragnarok, the prophesied end of the world. The previous game focused on Kratos’ struggle to hide his past as the violent God of War and become a supportive father to Atreus, who was unaware that he was the son of a god.

For gamers who didn’t get a chance to play the God of War 2018, Sony has released a blog detailing the events of that game, along with a video summarizing the plot with actress Felicia Day.

We do know that God of War Ragnarok will take advantage of the increased power of the PlayStation 5 and its DualSense controller, but the game will still be available with downgraded visuals on PS4.
