As can be seen, Lies of P took home the most awards by winning Best Role Playing Game, Most Wanted Sony PlayStation and Best Action Adventure Game. The game is slated to be released in 2023 with an undetermined exact release date. The game is a soul-like one that offers a new and darker take on the Pinocchio fable.

The other game that won big was Metal: Hellsinger, which took home the awards for Best Action Game and Most Wanted PC Game. The game is a rhythm FPS that will judge “your ability to shoot to the beat [to] improve your gameplay experience. The more in sync you are with the rhythm, the more intense the music will become and the more destruction you will cause.” The fact that the game has a soundtrack with contributions from industry names such as Serj Tankian from System of a Down and Alissa White-Glüz from Arch Enemy is sure to please music and gaming fans.

The game also featured a live concert at the venue, which was believed to be the largest live concert in the event’s history. The game will be released next month on September 15 on PS5, Xbox Series S|X and PC.

With this announcement of the winners of Gamescom’s awards, the event has finally come to an end and gamers can now look forward to the upcoming games in the future.
