Circuit Superstars’ Hot Ride Summer Patch is out now, adding the Poke Bowl dirt oval, Sunny Side Park, and the monstrous Sprint Car to the game

Last week we reported on Original Fire Games’ plans to launch the highly anticipated Summer update for his adorable racing sim, Circuit Superstars. The developer teased a first look at a new Sprint Car, plus a dirt oval track to race on, with further hints of an unannounced second track.

Yesterday (16 .)e August 2022), the team successfully launched the Hot Ride Summer Patch, confirming the identity of the mysterious track and revealing a host of fixes and improvements for the ever-evolving title. The update is now available for PC and PlayStation users, with the Xbox patch coming today (17e August 2022)

In addition to the Poke Bowl circuit, the Summer Patch also adds the Sunny Side Park track to the game. Sunny Side Park has a completely enclosed surface, with several challenging hairpin turns. Arriving with only one layout, the track has been pitched by the developers as a “perfect runway for new drivers”.

Poke Bowl, on the other hand, has a 100% dirt surface, where a ‘clean’ racing line dynamically forms as an event progresses. The track also perfectly complements the newly added Sprint Car, as these winged V8 brutes are often used in true dirt oval racing series in the US and Australia – most prominently in the World of Outlaws series.

In addition to new content, Original Fire Games has added several other improvements to the game; including the addition of player names above vehicles; an online ranked progression system; slipstream effectiveness tweaks and other graphics fixes and optimizations.

Have you had the chance to try out the Sprint Car on Circuit Superstars’ brand new tracks? Let us know in the comments below.
