Saints Row (2022), the latest game from developer Volition, is a brand new take on the beloved open world crime franchise of the same name. With this reboot, there are many elements that it overhauls and introduces. These range from new gameplay and progression systems to brand new activities.
So it’s a new experience for both newcomers and veterans of the series. As the boss of the newly formed gang called the Saints, players will participate in a variety of open world shenanigans to gain power, fame and money. Here’s how to get the most out of your playthrough in Saints Row (2022).

<p>It’s pretty common knowledge at this point that the game is buggy. One of the consequences of this is underpowered AI, including your allies Neenah, Kevin and Eli. Players can call all of them to help the player in battle and will follow the boss. Since their AI isn’t particularly good, the player may have to look after them if all three of them are running around.</p>
<p>Since some of the best vehicles in the game are two-seaters, two AI allies will split up and drive their own cars. However, if they die, for example during a chase, players may not be in a position to revive them. If one of the characters dies, there’s a ridiculous 10-minute delay before they can be summoned, so it’s best to stick to one character at a time for most scouting scenarios, as they’ll stick to your side like glue.</p>

Despite being a reboot, the game follows many design elements from older titles. This allows players to shoot and drive through the main missions, which include completing objectives across various game situations, such as a massive firefight on a moving train, for example.
In such scenarios, players cannot change their skills (or appearance for that matter), so it is recommended that you check that all the correct skills are built in. Try using more offensive abilities that rely on buffering the player or dealing damage directly. Intercession skills don’t work during main missions because the saints’ reinforcements don’t come in.

<p>Players can use their smartphones to select the main and side missions in Saints Row (2022). Moreover, it also gives access to challenges. This is crucial as they help unlock new perks. Perks are gear that provide a variety of bonuses and perks, such as increased XP, more ammo pickups, and more NPC ally damage.</p>
<p>They also fall under three categories: Minor, Major and Elite, with the latter offering some nice upgrades. Considering that some basic abilities, such as dual wielding, are behind this interplay between the Challenge and Perk systems, this shouldn’t be overlooked.</p>
