Fans routinely do this around the time of new games and creating “fakemon” is a tried and true fandom pastime. However, these leaked Pokémon are special. Unfortunately this leak was for the then coming GTA IV, instead of. While Grand Theft Auto 4 is arguably the best, it had absolutely nothing in common with this fake leak.

1 Grinch Leakage

2018 wasn’t just home to fake leaked schedules or border areas trailers, it also featured one of the most elaborate hoaxes in modern gaming history. Super Smash Bros Ultimate had a raucous hype cycle with lots of exciting reveals. They were unveiled one by one on this large poster that fans thought would be for sale, but never actually sold.
