With the launch of the new PS Plus tiers comes a bigger stream of games. At the end of a month/start of it (depending on when the last Tuesday before the first Wednesday is), Sony will reveal its PS Plus free games for the Essential tier. The PS Plus free games for July 2022 include Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, and Arcadegeddon.
Then, around the middle of the month, Sony will announce and release new games for the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers. It seems fans should expect these to be much bigger drops, as Sony has announced 17 new games for the Extra and Premium today, July 13. These titles will be released on July 19, but it seems more may have been planned.
These are the PS Plus Extra and Premium Tier games arriving on July 19.
Extra: AC: The Ezio Collection, AC: Black Flag, AC Freedom Cry, AC Rogue Remastered, AC Unity, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure, Jumanji: The Video Game, Marvel’s Avengers, Paw Patrol on a Roll, ReadySet Heroes, Saints Row 4: Re-Elected, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition, and Stray
Premium: LocoRoco: Midnight Carnival, No Heroes Allowed

However, in addition to the above, a now-edited PS Plus Italy post showed access to three more premium games. These included the PSP titles Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny and Ridge Racer 2, as well as the PS1 title Dino Crisis. It’s not exactly unusual for PS Plus subscribers in different territories to get games, which was assumed at first to be what this meant, but they’ve now been removed.
In other words, it seems perhaps Sony tried to get these games available everywhere but could not at this time. This could suggest, then, that next month or perhaps as surprise additions to PS Plus Premium later this month these games will become available. This is certainly exciting for fans, as each is a beloved and classic titles, but perhaps Dino Crisis stands out the most.
After all, since the announcement of PS Plus Premium, fans have been hoping to see Dino Crisis available on the service. It didn’t quite make it for launch, but with any luck, it’ll be added soon.
PS Plus subscribers get a handful of games every month.
