A Genshin Impact fan points out that Diluc appears to be taller when equipped with his recently released Red Dead of Night outfit.
After months of rumors and speculation, Genshin Impact Update 2.8 has finally introduced two new outfits for two popular characters, Diluc and Fischl. Both new skins have a unique story and can be found in the game’s official store.
The game rarely introduces in-game character cosmetics, with the Keqing and Ningguang Lantern Rite event skins being the most recent additions. An interesting post about the official Genshin Impact The subreddit shows a small detail about Diluc’s skin that most players probably didn’t notice.
Reddit user vc710 revealed an interesting detail about one of the new skins. Apparently, equipping Diluc with his new attire will make the character look a little taller. Several responses in the comments section jokingly claim that this small change makes the skin worth buying. This is the first five-star skin in the game as it includes several changes to the character’s combat effects. The Pyro’s flames in the new skin are a little darker and appear to have a much higher contrast.
Some comments claim that Diluc is not taller with the new skin, he just has higher heels. However, fans pointed out that considering players cannot take off or change Diluc’s cleats, the only thing that matters is that Diluc’s model is taller with the new skin. Diluc’s new costume has certainly reintroduced this forgotten character into many player compositions. Even though the new look has absolutely no impact on his power on the battlefield, fans claim that the Pyro’s new effects certainly come as a breath of fresh air.
The skin normally costs 2480 Genesis Crystals which is around $40, however during the 2.8 update players can get the new skin for 1980 Genesis Crystals or around $30. new skin is very expensive, especially as players can spend the money on Primogems and acquire a new five-star character from the game’s limited banner.
Fortunately, developer HoYverse decided to reward their players with a free skin for one of the Genshin Impactmost popular four-star characters, Fischl. To get the free skin, players need to be Adventure Rank 32 or higher and enter the Summertime Odyssey event. After collecting 16 Phantasmal Conch shells, players can go to the event menu and collect the skin. It should be noted that the skin can be obtained for free only during the event.
Genshin Impact is now available on mobile, PC, PS4 and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
