While the Wonder Weapons seen in call to action zombies may be its most iconic aspect, the Perk-a-Colas featured in co-op are in second place. Recently, a call to action Zombies fans have gone out of their way to pay homage to these perks, though their homage has taken a different form than what fans are used to seeing.
First introduced in call to action The second Zombies map, Verruckt, Perk-a-Colas are drinks that give players some unique abilities. More than a dozen Perk machines have been created by Treyarch over the years, and fans have made a lot of fanart based on the colored drinks. Alongside the replica bottles, memorable projects include an ’80s-themed commercial Juggernog and custom LEGO perk machines. However, CoolingRiver’s perk art stands out because it gives it a human touch.
The artist gave human advantages to almost every drink in call to action Zombies history, and players can find them by checking their Reddit profile here. Impersonating inanimate machines is not an easy task, although CoolingRiver managed to make the idea a reality based on the perk jingles and abilities of each drink. For example, the music and design of the Mule Kick machine have a Mexican inspiration, which sees the human version of the machine wearing a poncho. They also hold three guns, a nod to the privilege’s main purpose.
Nicknamed “Perk-a-Sonas” by the call to action A zombie fan, all the designs seem appropriate for the perks they are inspired by. The upbeat and catchy jingle for the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Elemental Pop perk results in an upbeat girl on roller skates, while the dark woman from Widow’s Wine is a great contrast to this design. Both perks have jingles featuring female singers, making the decision to give them a Perk-a-Sona a good one. The Widow’s Wine detail is especially great, as the character’s veil is made of webs.
Appropriate designs span multiple posts, with Stamin-Up being transformed into a speedster, Double Tap becoming a cowboy, and Speed Cola being a dancer. At the time of writing, Quick Revive and Death Perception seem to be the only major perks that still need to be done, so fans should keep an eye on the artist’s posts to see the final additions to the lineup. Unsurprisingly, the call to action The Zombies community has responded well to every post so far, giving each batch of human perks hundreds of upvotes and a few positive comments.
Although this beautiful project is coming to an end soon, any call to action Zombies fan should be able to enjoy this art collection. With the next from Treyarch call to action right game to present Cod zombiesAlso, maybe some new perks will be introduced for CoolingRiver to impersonate.
