Xur has returned to Lot 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to try out for a limited time. However, there remains a lot of unease among fans about Deepsight Weapons, especially those that can be made from a location called The Relic. While Bungie recently changed two Seasonal Perks to improve weapon cartridge drop, the community is still having issues with numerous elements of weapon crafting.

The last reset really came to a head when a new Seasonal Challenge challenged players to level up three Seasonal Weapons to Level 10. While the wording is a bit vague about what a Seasonal Weapon is, the bigger problem the community has is how heavy the activity is. has only become to complete some of these challenges. Fortunately, Bungie Community Manager Dylan Gafner acknowledged many of the pain points that had been made, and promised to pass on the finalized feedback that many hope can be implemented sooner rather than later.

Until then, now is the time to talk to Xur, because the weekend trader Xur has arrived again Lot 2 the next few days. Follow this guide for his most current weekend location, news of his exotic coding quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he brought for the weekend of October 7, 2022.

Where is Xur?

This weekend, Lot 2 players can find Xur in the Tower hangar.

Travel quickly to the Winding Cove zone and immediately head to the back where the Fallen typically patrol. Climb the cliffs here and find Xur on a ledge not far from a crashed ship.

Class armor and exotic figure

The role of Xur continues to provide the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second ill-fated engram, but they are also required to acquire ancient exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new figure by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Earn bonus points by playing with clanmates or completing more challenging activities.

Xur continues to sell even more gear beyond its usual content. In addition to his normal exotic gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor for sale in exchange for Legendary Shards and Glimmer.

Exotic armor

Contraverse Hold – Warlock Glove

Traditionally a very strong PvP exotic, these go very well with a Voidwalker’s grenade abilities. Chaos Exchanger is the unique perk and resists damage while charging an empty grenade with Chaos Accelerant, Feed the Void, or Handheld Supernova. In addition, after throwing and landing a hit, some of the grenade energy is returned.

These were previously modified in the Season of the Worthy Season Update. While still functioning the same as before, players now have less protection from damage while holding the supernova and how long it can be held. Technically the lowest stat roll this week, it’s still a solid 63 with highs for resilience, discipline and intellect.

Emptiness improved. Statistical values:

  • Mobility +6
  • Resilience +19
  • Restore +8
  • Discipline +16
  • Intellect +12
  • Force +2

Wormhusk Crown – Hunter helmet

This exotic Hunter gear used to be an easy option, especially since it was given out to players who completed the Warmind expansion campaign. Burning Souls gives players a small health and shield punch after dodging.

Unfortunately, the perk was considered too powerful by Bungie, and the developer went on to tweak the item’s nerd to tweak its ability to essentially save a fighter from death by simply dodging. While it’s nowhere near the power level it was before the nerf, it’s still a solid option for hunters in the crucible for the health boost and shield hump. With a total roll of 64, it’s a solid pick up this week.

Emptiness improved. Statistical values:

  • Mobility +14
  • Resilience +16
  • Restore +3
  • Discipline +2
  • Intellect +15
  • Force +14

ACD/0 Feedback Fence – Titan Glove

The intrinsic perk called Fury Conductors builds energy when you get melee kills. Getting hit by a melee attack not only reduces incoming damage and unleashes the currently stored energy on an explosion.

It may not be the best exotic Titan available, it certainly has its moments in specific activities like the Crucible. Getting punched and causing small explosions is a powerful, fun and destructive ability to have. Titans are the big winners this week with a peak of 65 and above average Recovery and Intelligence. Not the best role, but a solid one for those interested.

Arch improved. Statistical values:

  • Mobility +7
  • Resilience +8
  • Restore +18
  • Discipline 7
  • Intellect +16
  • Force +9

Exotic Weapon

On sale just a few weeks ago, the exotic expansion weapon Forsaken is back in stock. The Two-Tailed Fox is a rocket launcher that fires two elemental rockets, one void and one solar powered. Better yet, these missiles can track the same target. The empty missile also suppresses the target, while the solar missile deals damage over time.

While this is a fun weapon to use, this particular exotic is outclassed by other weapons, including its sibling, the Gjallarhorn. Still, it has its uses in certain game modes, but it’s not a required purchase this week.

Additional benefits:

  • Limited Launch
  • High Speed Laps
  • Composite stock

Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale Rolls

Since Season 16 removed the exotic missions Presage and Harbinger, Xur also sells both Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale with randomized roles. Players should visit him every weekend as he carries various roles with him.

Hawkmoon sandwiches:

  • Hammer forged rifle
  • Alloy Magazine
  • opening shot
  • Smooth grip

The Story of the Dead Man

  • Extended barrel
  • Armor piercing rounds
  • Fourth time is the charm
  • Fitted stock
