New leaks regarding Warzone 2’s DMZ have revealed the potential missions and objectives players will battle in the extraction-style mode.
The excitement is mounting for both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, with players gearing up for their releases with the Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 5 Reloaded update, which has released a brand new Assualt Rifle.
While players will have to wait a month after the release of Modern Warfare 2 for the new Warzone, starting November 16, players will not only get the new Battle Royale, but also the new DMZ mode.
The extraction-style DMZ mode has been a bit of a mystery since its discovery and reveal on Call of Duty Next. However, new leaks may have revealed more about the mode, including the objectives and missions players will complete.
We already knew that Warzone 2’s DMZ mode would be an Escape from Tarkov-style extraction mode, but if these leaks turn out to be true, the missions and objectives pretty much confirm it.
Warzone 2 DMZ Leaked Missions & Objectives List
According to the leak, players will complete objectives by extracting various items such as “enemy grunt weapons” and a certain amount of “cash in one match.”
The fact that players want to make money may suggest that Warzone’s cash currency will also be used in DMZ, and may be the currency that allows players to purchase gear and various other items.
One of the leaked missions even reads: “A mission to the DMZ cannot be considered successful without extracting sufficient resources. Fill your backpack before exfiling to maximize your efficiency,” further confirming the mode’s extraction aspect .
There are also missions very reminiscent of the multiplayer mode challenges, where players must achieve a certain number of headshots/kills with specific weapon classes on other operators or ‘grunts’.
The leak reveals a ton of information about missions players will complete in the DMZ, which will be played on Warzone 2’s map, Al Mazrah. However, it’s important to remember that these are just leaks, so take them with a grain of salt.
