Medieval Dynasty is released today on Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass and PS5 – this is purely a next-generation title – and throws you kicking and screaming into the Europe of the Middle Ages, as a young man looking to make a name for himself in the local community. Back to basics though. While you are free to explore the world however you wish, it may be a good idea to join the main quest, if only if you encounter a huge bear or wolf for the first time, you will have least an idea how to defend yourself. Ultimately, you’ll have to brave the wilderness, look for food and resources to feed yourself (and a potential family), and build your own home. Creating and upgrading your character is okay every day as you work your way up the hierarchy. Soon you will be trading the map and even having encounters with the king!
