The term Gamerscore has become a source of pride for many people who have meticulously maintained this metric since Xbox allowed players to track their performance in such a form. Given the many achievements present in most games, it’s easy to see why so many gamer scores reach astronomical heights and become a badge of honor for so many players who enjoy performance hunting in the games they love.
That said, there are times when games troll players by adding useless achievements that add absolutely no Gamerscore. More often than not, these achievements are awarded for bad play or questionable actions that the player performs in the game. Here are some of the most notable achievements in gaming that reward players with the total of 0 Gamerscore.
10 Dragon Ball Master (Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot)
Most Xbox achievements without Gamerscore are the ones that indicate whether a gamer has achieved all other achievements in the game. As a result, most people don’t care about the lack of Gamerscore, as it serves as a show instead.
That’s how it is in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarota game where players play the whole Dragon Ball saga as they play as their favorite characters. Suffice it to say that this game is quite fun and rewards players for achieving all achievements with another one called Dragon Ball Master.
9 Gen 10 (Titanfall)
Upgrade generations in Fall of the Titans takes a lot of time. Players have to spend many hours sinking into a game that also didn’t launch with the best reception, showing how rare this achievement really is.
Reaching Gen 10 is a tough task that will take a long time to accomplish. The fact that the reward for this is a 0 Gamerscore achievement feels like a cruel mockery of a player’s efforts.
8 Enjoy your stay? (state of decay 2)
State of decay 2 is a pretty immersive survival game that is already pretty hard as it is. However, as players increase the difficulty, they will see how brutal this game really can get.
Enjoy your stay? is an achievement players receive when the survivors in their community die in a Dread Zone or Nightmare Zone. It’s a harrowing feat that no player would want, especially if no Gamerscore is awarded for it.
7 Unbeatable Fist (Street Fighter 4)
Street Fighter 4 is a game with a lot of achievements. Given the competitive nature of this title, it’s just a given that securing all these achievements can be pretty crushing.
However, players who complete all achievements in the game earn the title of the unbeatable fist. It awards 0 Gamerscore and mainly serves as a boast for players who have achieved everything possible in Street Fighter 4.
6 5 direct losses in DOA Online (dead or alive 4)
Not all achievements have cryptic statements and headlines that can make it quite difficult to decipher. Some, like this one from Dead or alive 4make the terms pretty clear from the start.
Of course, the whole idea of losing 5 times in a doA online match can be quite humbling on its own. This may be why many people don’t really appreciate having this achievement on their profile, especially if it doesn’t have Gamerscore as well.
5 Pacifist (head head)
cup is one of the most challenging bullet hell platform games ever made. The sheer amount of chaos on the screen means that players must maintain an unwavering focus at all times while playing this game.
Pacifist is one of the achievements in this game that is downright impossible to get, forcing players to go through the entire game without defeating a single enemy. It’s easy to see why this is so hard, with cups relentless waves of enemies making it nearly impossible to dodge all their moves without hitting back and ignoring the threat.
4 Bad loser (FIFA 10)
Nobody likes a sore loser, especially when it comes to online gaming. Losing gracefully is a talent that many players don’t master, especially when it comes to a game like FIFA.
FIFA 10 basically punishes players with an embarrassing “achievement” if they behave like a bad loser too often. This achievement comes when players leave an online game too many times while falling behind.
3 If You Show Me Your Courage (Dragon Ball XenoVerse)
Dragon Ball XenoVerse is another great game for fans of the series to check out. The grinding in this game is downright unforgivable at times, but XenoVerse still has plenty of highlights, including a pretty compelling original story.
The If You Show Me Your Courage achievement is obtained after players unlock all other achievements in the game. It may not give Gamerscore at all, but the boasting more than makes up for it.
2 Suicide King (FEAR: First Encounter Assault Recon)
FEAR is one of the best FPS titles that no one is talking about right now. It’s a shame because the AI and the atmosphere of FEAR is truly one of a kind and still sends shivers down the spine of most players to this day.
Suicide King is a pretty hilarious feat that makes fun of a player who is constantly killing himself with his own mistakes, time and time again. It “rewards” playing for killing itself a total of five times in Campaign or Instant Action.
1 Welcome to the big leagues (Gears Of War 3)
Gears of War 3 is a pretty awesome game that many fans love to this day. The Weapons of War series was at its peak when the third game came out, which was pretty compelling in itself.
Welcome to the Big Leagues is an achievement players get when they participate in their first-ever Casual vs Multiplayer game. It’s a small step towards the competition Gears of War 3 multiplayer that was a hit in itself.
