There’s another monthly quick go-to list of what’s coming to cinemas, networks, VOD and SVOD services, and gaming platforms in the coming weeks.
This is not a complete list, rather it is a list of the most important and some minor titles of interest. The titles are separated by date and arranged with movies and movie rentals first, then TV, and then games.
Among the film’s highlights is Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller “Don’t Worry Darling”, the highly anticipated sequel to “Hocus Pocus”, Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe in “Blonde”, Saoirse Ronan has a fun murder mystery in “See How They Run”, the first big studio gay rom-com featuring “Bros”, Robert Zemeckis directs the live-action version of Disney’s “Pinocchio”, Viola Davis is the warrior leader of an African kingdom in “The Woman King”, Kevin Smith returns with a third “Clerks”, and Zac Efron sets out to deliver beer to his friends fighting in Vietnam in “The Greatest Beer Run Ever”.
Nothing beats the premiere of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” on TV, but it’s far from the only major series. “Star Wars” gets darker and more mature with “Andor”, the revival of “Quantum Leap” makes its first jump, “The Good Fight” and “Atlanta” say goodbye to their last seasons, “Rick and Morty” is back for a sixth season, “Cobrai Kai” and “The Handmaid’s Tale” are back for the fifth season, Jon Bernthal (“American Gigolo”) and Matthew Fox (“Last Light”) return to TV, “Vampire Academy” and “Cyberpunk 2077 are getting new series incarnations, and many key networking procedures are all returning.
Among the highlights of the game, there is a lot of excitement about “Return to Monkey Island”, rave reviews are already pouring in for the base remake “The Last of Us Part I”, the Nintendo Switch delivers the third title in the “Splatoon” series , an interesting looking alpine war simulation is offered in “Isonzo”, and there are entries in this year’s FIFA & NBA franchises.
