The 2022 college football season has arrived.
The Colorado State soccer team has six home games at Canvas Stadium, kickoff all afternoon and evening.
The return of football means tailgating is back and with it a new look on campus. Tailgating at night is now an option and Ram Town has a new hub in a central location.
Here’s everything you need to know about attending a match at Canvas Stadium.
Overnight/game day parking
For the first time, overnight parking is allowed on campus the day before the games. Fans with RVs and large vehicles can purchase an overnight pass to park at 5:30 p.m. the night before a game. It is only allowed on the Moby Arena lot and pre-registration is required.
Outside the overnight parking spaces, the lots will open four hours before kick-off (Saturday, September 10, 10 a.m.).
Several neighborhoods near the campus have a game day parking permit program in place, and vehicles without the proper permit in those neighborhoods will be ticketed and towed. The zones are marked with signs. Enforcement begins three hours before kick-off.
Single game and season parking passes can be purchased online at csurams.com.

New Ram Town
CSU has moved its central tailgating hub to the corner of Meridian Avenue and Hughes Way, just north of Canvas Stadium.
Ram Town’s new venue will have inflatables and other entertainment for families, and it is located along the route to Ram Walk, where the team enters the stadium after walking through the crowd. Brothers BBQ will be placed there as part of the tailgate, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.
Gate entrance, clearbag policy and metal detectors
All guests entering Canvas Stadium must undergo a bag inspection, including metal detection screening. Clear bag policy allows bags to be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and no larger than 12 inches wide, 6 inches deep, and 12 inches high. 1-gallon storage bags, small clutch bags, and soft, flexible (no metal) seat cushions are allowed.
Fans are encouraged to come to events early to avoid delays with metal detector screening.
