In recent decades, most movies have been game-based, so it’s hard to keep up with them all. On the other hand, television-to-game adaptations seemed a little sparse. This could be because developers don’t know about certain TV shows and type in which game developers can.
A ’09 piece of paper, The History of Home Improvement – a game powered by the backlash of a Megaman-esque knock-off where Tim the Toolman Taylor stabbed prehistoric animals with a wrench and hammer. It’s proof that many television shows just shouldn’t be translated to the gaming platform because it’s not a fairly reasonable way to do it. Despite there being a rational effort, like the action-oriented The Sopranos: Road to Respect, the sloppy execution of the idea didn’t solve the entire project.
That doesn’t mean we don’t want to make a suitable video game for our favorite TV shows. It’s a creative endeavor that Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul showrunners, Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, have thought about several times over the years. Last month, the pair told The Inside Journal that they even wanted to reach out to developer Rockstar Games to see if they’d be interested in creating an epic world adventure along the lines of their biggest hits like Grand Theft Auto.
Due to the lack of tangible light and a lot of thought, we thought that the ABQ meth verse could easily be fully realized in video games. We will try to look at different genres and consoles and get the most creative, yet realistic results.
Open World Action Adventure will take place on March 22.
This is the kind of drama that is definitely worth translating into. In a thrilling world, the beautiful New Mexican landscape can be further imagined with the thrill of playing an open world adventure game. The fans can play and explore the playground. It could play as Red Dead Redemption: Play as Walter and go through the desert and metropolis, interacting with the residents of Albuquerque. Or it could be like that series Uncharted, where it’s more action-oriented and linear.
The developers have to decide whether the missions would pull storylines directly from the shows or mix that information into new stories. If the game could do some things that shows haven’t spent some time with this option, it would be enough to fill up the space. We can easily imagine this as a huge hit on the PS5.
Role play and strategy.
RPGs are best for character-intensive experiences, and Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul certainly are. Characters in the shows are perfect for both Walter White, Jesse Pinkman, Jimmy McGill and Kim Wexler.
The biggest thing a developer should figure out is what kind of combat game it would have. Turn-based seems to be the better option. There are not enough antagonists or enemies on the screen to hack and slash like in Diablo. This kind of role-playing adventure should be slower, more mindful and more atmospheric.
The neo-western themes are also the problem of a general public relations program. What I can think of that eliminates all disclaimers is Star Wars: the Old Republic. Choosing between all of the fan-favorite characters for your playthrough means making the journey with a different character class that reflects the game’s trajectory.
Basically, if it weren’t for Hank and Gomez, they’d be more of a stealth class because they often win with ruse or trickery, while their counterparts are more heroic because they’re DEA agents. This would be a big game that would live on PC and PS5.
Puzzle
The best way to turn these shows into puzzle games is to make simple and expensive things like WarioWare or Cooking Mama, while the other two are thoughtful mini-games of the same style. Unlike other countries and areas, we can now go back and forth to enjoy.
Measuring out certain chemicals while cooking meth, driving the RV through the desert in the dark, and sorting letters into the Chucks before waking up from his sleep cycle, etc.
Normally the breaking Bad/Cooking Mama thought of a puzzle game, but it was probably in the meth lab. The player would mimic the production process of Walt or Jesse by mixing ingredients and testing a meth for purity. Despite the alleged crimes, a man named Juan David Gomez, a fan-made game, turned these thoughts into real life on the Hayday show.
The puzzle genre is so varied that there is no limit to the different types of games you can create. The Tetris block puzzle game would be fun to imagine you in the Guss meth lab. It would be really nice to put different ingredients in the right place to get high marks.
The movie “Why Do You Take What Do You Do” movie is great, because of the 5th grade musicals. The quiz can take place in Walter White’s classroom, and Walt is looking for the exam with his signature smartassery. These games look like they are suitable for the PC or Switch.
Graphic story
The visual novel genre isn’t one of the most popular in gaming, but it would fit in perfectly with Better Call Saul, especially considering the legal part of the show. If you watch the Ace Attorney series, you know that people are interested in courtroom drama and making decisions that can give a guilty or innocent verdict to clients.
We rarely find out if Jimmy, Chuck, Kim or Howard live in their natural habitat; the legal scenes often relate to their personal lives in the series. In a visual novel, players can control each of the four lawyers and learn to understand their very different litigation techniques.
It would be like having a lot of rabid dialogue and thought-provoking puzzles to make the whole thing better together. This type of game would easily live on Nintendo Switch, but even better on 3DS.
To fight
Strange, Breaking Bad has many characters with that unique effect. Given the violence in the Salamanca family, it is imperative to put them in a Street Fighter ring style and roll up their sleeves. Tuco, Lalo, Cousins, Nacho, Gus, Tire and Mike all had their own unique set.
Nacho would be defensive as he was clearly passive. Tuco would get furious and get away with it. If the player uses this power to win the game, it will cause a fit of anger in those they have lost control with. Gus can be calculated and used with weapons instead of fists, as we know how much his signature box cutter would affect combat.
This show requires no action approach. Mike licks Tuco for his incarceration in the second season, and Howard and Jimmy box in the sixth season.
Involving the whole world of characters and not just those in the cartel sphere would make for some crazy combinations and crazy attacks. Super Smash Bros. and Multiversus have proven that this kind of game is possible. From pizza to twirling her ponytail at the enemy, there are endless possibilities to fight. Playing online is just the right way to fight this kind of battle.
What would a Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul video game look like?
