
Earlier this year, Ubisoft announced the return of Ubisoft Forward. Ubisoft has officially revealed that Assassin’s Creed would be one of the games at the event after multiple leaks of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and several new ones Assassin’s Creed games are announced. Today’s Ubisoft Forward also included updates on Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Skull and Bones, The division series and more. Here’s everything announced on Ubisoft Forward.
A new trailer has been released for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. The game launches on October 20 for Nintendo Switch. Rayman was also announced to be coming to the game in the third DLC expansion. It will be available as a standalone purchase and it is also part of the Season Pass.
After the game’s re-veiling, the team behind Skull and Bones talked about The Helm, in-game trading networks that will give players opportunities to grow their Infamy and climb the ranks. The new gameplay trailer also highlighted the different ships and countless ways for players to adapt to their favorite playstyles.
Season 4 of Riders Republic, Freestylin’ will be released on September 14. The new season will bring BMX, including a career mode, special events and a special BMX zone. Freestylin’ also marks the beginning of the Vans partnership, bringing in new sponsors such as Cult, Odyssey, We the People, Flybikes and Subrosa.
There are several Division games in development. Season 10 of The Division 2 comes out next week on September 13. Season 11 concludes the year. Division 2 won’t be slowing down anytime soon as Ubisoft announced they are working on Year 5 of the game.
The Division Heartland was announced as a new free-to-play game set in The division universe. The difference between Hartland and the main line Division games is that Hartland is a survival action shooter with streamlined survival gameplay. Players take on the role of a Division agent who must protect Silver Creek, a small town in Central America, from hostile factions, rouge agents and a deadly infestation. Players can now register for upcoming closed tests.
The revival of the division is an upcoming mobile version of the game. Players can also register for the next test phase that focuses on PvP action, including the Dark Zone and Conflict mode.
Rainbow Six Mobile is also looking for people to participate in a closed beta on Google Play. It will launch on September 12 and will be open to Android users in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Philippines, Singapore, and India. The beta will be released Rainbow Six Mobiles new progression and Operator unlock systems, 16 Operators, Bomb and Secure Area game modes, and the Bank and Border maps.
Ubisoft and Netflix have announced that they are teaming up to bring three exclusive Ubisoft mobile games to Netflix members: a sequel to brave hearts, a new roguelite-inspired Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, and an original Assassin’s Creed game. All three games are free to download by members, with no ads or in-app purchases, via the Netflix mobile app.
track mania will come to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Stadia, and Amazon Luna in early 2023. The game’s console and cloud launch brings cross-play and cross-progression to the game. track mania offers over 280,000 player-created tracks full of twists, turns and obstacles.
Just Dance 2023 Edition is an evolution of the franchise as a dance-on-demand platform. It brings new features such as online multiplayer and a redesigned user interface. The game is supported with regular, free content updates. 40 new songs are coming to the game, such as “Physical” by Dua Lipa, “More” by K/DA ft. Madison Beer, (G)I-DLE, Lexie Liu, Jaira Burns & Seraphine, “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” by Justin Timberlake, “Sweet but Physco” by Ava Max and more. The future of Assassin’s Creed has been revealed. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next game in the franchise. It is set in 9th century Baghdad and focuses on Basim Ibn Is’haq of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The story focuses on Basim’s early years when he was a young man learning the ways of the Hidden Ones. As has been reported, mirage was built as a tribute to the early Assassin’s Creed titles.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is not the only one Assassin’s game in development. Ubisoft also revealed several other titles that will be released in the coming years. Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is an AAA RPG action-adventure mobile game set in ancient China. Assassin’s Creed Codename RED is the next open-world RPG experience. RED takes the franchise to one of the series’ most in-demand settings, feudal Japan. Assassin’s Creed Codename HEXE will follow.
Ubisoft has also officially revealed what Infinity is. Reports suggested it would be a new live service title, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. Assassin’s Creed Codename INFINITY becomes a hub that connects players through different types Assassin’s Creed experiences, including RED and HEXE. Ubisoft has also revealed that it is partnering with Netflix to produce a live-action adaptation of Assassin’s Creed alongside the new mobile game for Netflix members.
