LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s Current DLC Lineup

In the weeks that followed LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker SagaAt its initial launch, TT Games released a handful of DLC character packs, adding a slew of new playable heroes to the game. The first two DLC character packs that launched alongside the game on April 5 will feature characters from both The Mandalorian Season 1 and Solo: A Star Wars Story. Shortly after, the Classic Character Pack was released, featuring a number of designs based on the original LEGO Star Wars series. Then came the Trooper Character Pack, with some new Stormtrooper variants in the game, such as Rogue One‘s Death Trooper and Solo‘s Mimban Stormtrooper.

The Star Wars spin-off Rogue One then received its own special Character Pack, adding iconic characters such as Jyn Erso, Director Krennic, Cassian Andor and K-2SO to the roster. The Mandalorian Season 2 received a DLC, bringing Ashoka Tano, Bo-Katan, Boba Fett, and Giancarlo Esposito’s Moff Gideon to the game. The last DLC to come out LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga shortly after launch, a Bad batch Character Pack, in line with the Clone Wars eponymous spin-off.

In the recent Disney and Marvel Games Showcase, TT Games announced that a new wave of Character Pack DLCs are on their way to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga on Nov 1. The first DLC pack is based on the hugely popular Clone Wars animated show, and will bring Clone Captain Rex to the game, along with a few other unconfirmed characters. Star Wars Rebels, another animated show, is also getting a DLC pack, which will likely bring the entire Phoenix Squadron to the game, including Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, and Sabine Wren. The new DLC wave also includes skins based on Disney Plus Star Wars summer vacation special, with Darth Vader in a Hawaiian shirt as the clear star.

The other three new DLC Character Packs are all based on the recent Disney Plus Star Wars offer, with characters from Andoro, Obi-Wan Kenobiand Boba Fett’s book all come to the game. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Needs More Expansive DLC

The current lineup of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga DLC was nice, but it’s not really what fans have been asking for. While new playable characters are always welcome, the DLC packs didn’t come cheap and don’t really add substantial content to the game, especially when it came with over 300 characters from around the world. Star Wars legend. Instead, fans crave some really expansive DLCs that add real meat to The Skywalker Saga.

For starters, fans are desperate for new levels. By bringing all nine main lines together Star Wars movies, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga‘s campaign felt quite rushed in places. While the original trilogy’s missions were decently paced and lengthy, the prequels felt extremely rushed, skipping some key set-pieces and plot points and relying too much on open-world exploration to make up for the running time. Fans wanted future DLCs to add some new levels to the game, either expanding on the main movies or drawing inspiration from the many Star Wars spin-offs. Missions based on Clone Wars, Rebels, Andor, Obi-Wan and The Mandalorian all would be most welcome in The Skywalker Saga.

In addition to the missions, a handful of new open-world planets wouldn’t hurt. Lothal of rebelsChristophsis van Clone WarsNevarro out The Mandalorianand Fortress Inquisitorius out Obi-Wan would all make for some great open-world locations, with plenty of opportunities for new side missions. As for side missions, fans are hoping for that future Skywalker Saga DLC can add a new variation to the side missions of the game, with many in the base game feeling like simple fetch quests. This is especially true for the space missions, which involve shooting this thing or traveling through three loading screens to shoot something else.

In addition to these DLC character packs, some new space vehicles would also be a great addition. Andoro‘s Luthen Rael has a very tight ship, just like the Inquisitors of Obi-Wan. For ultimate fan service, future LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga DLC can even add some characters and ships based on the Star Wars Legends universe, such as the Ebon Hawk and Revan from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republicor Kyle Katarn and the moldy crow out Jedi Knight.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
