The Monday Letters page believes Crystal Dynamics will bring back Legacy of Kain as a reader creates their own Elden Ring DLC.

Please note that we’re looking to run a feature for Black History Month in October and we’re looking for Black Heritage writers in the UK to submit paid items. If you are interested, please send us a message at the address in the message.

Long-term plan Six new games of the Assassins Creed? What can I say, is that too much? What bothers me about these plans is that Ubisoft has already planned six new games (and only four decent ones – and two mobile apps) and yet doesn’t know how they will transfer to fans.

I guess that’s the reality of game development, but what if people go wild for Mirage that doesn’t have a role-playing feature? What if Jade is super unpopular and everyone hates infinity? The horror game can be unexpected and they have no problems with the game, although these three games are already planned?

It was impossible for me to imagine the Dark Universe cinematic universe that could be replicated in The Mummy. They had all these big plans, all the planned movies and actors signed up. The only problem getting it is that no one liked the first one and all the stuff got scrapped.

I’m not saying that happens in Assassins Creed Infinity. I can imagine it’s like opening yourself up to a problem, and mentioning that it’s more like an assembly line than ever. That’s probably unfair to the games themselves, some of which sound interesting.

So, Whether Activision Blizzard Deal Fails Is It Up To You? Personally, I think Sony is going to do well. They are currently the top for digital, console and revenue. They have a large group of developers in their portfolio who produce quality products. They also have a huge franchise like Spider-Man that sells for millions of dollars.

The fact that Microsoft will make some profit is very disappointing, but not enough to stop people from buying Sony products. Playing in good competition is good, and maybe this will force Sony to develop their own quality first-person shooter to challenge Call Of Duty. They recently bought Bungie so they fit just right. Doomedbigdaddy.com now has a perfect fit.

GC: Getting one of the world’s largest dpa publishers will always be a blow to Sony. But the Game Pass remains the biggest threat to the PlayStation, especially as the recently revamped PS Plus shows how ill-equipped Sony is to compete directly with it.

3 times unlucky I noticed you have a few stories about the Steam Deck and wanted to ask yourself if you saw any problems on the device?

I pre-ordered my first item in June. It’s now September, so I’m on my third device. Since July 3rd, when I first asked my question, I’ve been struggling with the RMA process. I received my third device last week and it was also a bad device and needs to be replaced again. All problems seem to stem from poor quality control. I had a lot of trouble and discomfort with the air.

I’ve been without the device longer than I have been at home.

I don’t see any issues, so it wasn’t clear if I’m just unlucky or if the issues are just a focus of media companies.

GC: Yours was the first we’ve had, but we can’t pretend a lot of people wrote about it.

Sometimes generous. Also Nintendo is ridiculously generous with adding new/old tracks to the base Mario Kart 8 for a very reasonable price.

While on the other hand they are releasing Splatoon 3 at full price, years after the first, but it seems like not much has changed other than existing weapons and new maps.

I feel like I’ll be able to get Splatoon for a while yet as it doesn’t always appeal to me, at least if I’m already seriously behind to work through.ttfp saylow (gamertag)Don’t play anymore Heroes 3!

My name is Francisco, I am from Puerto Rico and I am a fan of the series: The Legacy of Kain: The Soul Reaver. I was waiting for a remake or remastered version of the game and I really want the game made. I really hope the game comes back. Francisco will play it again.

I was hoping a company would revive my favorite PlayStation console franchise, it has been and has been in the Legacy of Kain franchise for years. I hope with this little email I can at least make a statement that I want this franchise to return and carry on what was canceled years ago. For now I assure you, please bring back Legacy of Kain, we need one more than ever.

Skip the first. All the Legacy Of Kain news is encouraging and it seems gamers and developers alike have forgotten about it.

I can’t help but worry a little. But to be fair, studios produce games, but the individual members of the team make them. Today’s Crystal Dynamics is different from the year’s Crystal Dynamics I was in at the time of download, so would the development of the new games be hard work in the writing department? Hopefully Amy Hennig left enough notes and they weren’t ignored.

I think a remake of the Blood Omen, which I want to give the others, was a good idea. Although Crystal Dynamics now owns the Legacy of Kain IP, I think Blood Omen may still be owned by the Silicon Knights and if it does, they should entice Dennis Dyack into getting admitted.Joseph Jones Now Playing: Super Robot Wars 30 (Switch) but no longer has an option.

GC: There’s an endless amount of better terms you could have used.

DLC included In recent years there has been talk in the Inbox about the possible DLC for Elden Ring. Like most fans of the game, I’d love to receive this, especially since the DLC for all previous Froms games was excellent.

I completed the Elden Ring several months ago and recently revisited it to pick up all the Legendary items. By doing that I already feel like I’m playing some DLC for the game, although it may not be free and the game itself is part of it. There are so many areas and bosses that I knew of myself before, and so I enjoy a lot of opportunities.

In the past, some game companies made some cuts to the content originally planned for a game so that they could sell it as DLC and generate more revenue. Van seems to do the opposite! Once a long-term critical success can be easily fulfilled by the commercial and commercial success.

Bluffing Memories Think of the new Fallout 76 DLC. It’s the only Fallout game I’ve never tried, so I think it could be good if you jump in and let it go. If you think this is your turn, think about the future.

GC: Well, see if we can find someone who can do it, but the memories of the game when it’s in place are still burning.

PostviolenceResponding to Stephen’s post on Last Of Us Part 1 which is too depressing. Since I’ve been on Xbox, I’ve never played The Last Of Us. Despite his belief that the last few years have probably changed the way I played. I don’t want to play scary horror games, or even a lot of shooters, because post-pandemic looks like me – they’re scary!

This is especially true in multiplayer games where I can’t help but feel overly competitive like I’m a good match or feel like I’m going to die forever. Recently, I found myself taking a break from puzzle and story-driven stories that helped me find a love for gaming. Road 96 was excellent, and recently I really enjoyed Superliminal and the UK. The pandemic has definitely changed my game forever. Henerzzz is a fantastic match!

Inbox too-rans Just a quick note to say that 11 Splatoon amiibo (!) are currently in stock on the Nintendo Store UK (Friday night). They are only present in the store today, because the time was when I listened to whatever I wanted. Andrew J.

Why does eA never learn? We don’t want a plot game for Battlefield. Stop using junk people who don’t want to try to give them a good multiplayer game. If you could do that, a story campaign would probably be a real possibility, but you didn’t and it doesn’t!

This Week’s Hot Topic The topic for this weekend’s Inbox was suggested by reader Gooch, who asks how are you in the fantasy video game?

To be clear, that means anything with at least a vaguely Tolkien-esque feel, as usually introduced in Lord of the Rings, and low fantasy settings like Game of Thrones. Crowing and hitting means nothing but a different way because it is a must, there are not even little orcs and elves in it.

How appealing do you find these kinds of fantasy settings and are they the only ones that affect your interest, no matter how interesting it is at that level? What else do you think could be done with the concept, and which next generation of fantasy games are you most looking forward to?

The fine print New Inbox Update shows all weekday mornings, and the Special Hot Topic Inboxes are the weekend. Cover letter is used for value and can be edited as length and content.

You can submit your own 500 or 600 word Reader feature at any time via email or our Submit page, the most widely used weekend slot.
