The first generation console is the most tense of games, especially The Division and The Division.

Let’s start with the first of the first few short words. We’re not just saying that this is the worst game on the PlayStation 4. This is a list of titles that I didn’t like as much as I had hoped.

10. Saints: Came from Hell!

I only became interested in a single game, despite my disappointment with Saints Row 4. Unfortunately, even with its outdated controls and repetitive missions, it fell short of my relatively low expectations. Even the ability to play co-op was limited, so it couldn’t last that long.

9. eFootball.

I can’t say eFootball expected that much from me. But I don’t think anyone saw this total car accident coming! Almost all of you have noticed the nightmare that caused distorted play that plagued the release, but while patches have now fixed many of the bugs, they still exist. Unlike those who don’t try to spend real money, this is the result of even the most complete lack of play modes and options. The worst part is that the actual gameplay is pretty good, but it seems like this series is dead in the water.

8. Middle-earth: The Shadow of the Great War!

Despite the removal of the much-maligned lootbox system, Shadow of War remains an unsatisfactory sequel. The Nemesis system and original combat fun remain at the heart of the game, but with more approaching, the game feels so overwhelming that you’ll never really want to progress. It’s still a decent game, but with multiple maps full of (often repetitive) quests and enemies, it’s undoubtedly inferior to its more focused predecessor.

7. Alien Isolation

The film’s exceptional presentation and sound isn’t the best for players who’ve done this before, but as a result, a game built on it isn’t particularly interesting. Even by survival horror standards, the gameplay is much slow and almost every push of the space station as directed, and so the most important thing is that the opponents will not see the enemies. Despite being stalked by the alien itself, you do feel quite tense at times. Despite being constantly reminded of big parties while alive. It was almost twenty hours and a half, is also too long.

6. Evolve

I’ve had many positive things about Evolve, although my thoughts have turned out to be indistinguishable. The concept itself, an association of fighters with different skills trying to kill monsters, is able to discover and kill them, but in this case it doesn’t work. The vast majority of my online time consisted of 20 minutes in circles trying to keep up with the monster until it reached its final shape. At that point, you will die or defeat an enemy’s bullet sponge. Likewise, missions just felt like they all played almost one way, and I lost interest in less than a week.

5. Wolfenstein 2: A new behemoth.

The fast run and gun gameplay of The New Colossus is so simple and it doesn’t even work like a stealth game. Enemy detection is highly incompatible and often, in certain areas, even when a commander is alerted, it can harm enemies.

To make matters worse, you often find yourself wandering around the u-boat which more often than not is a focal point during the break, thus doing a deplorable fetch so you can start firing again.

4. The Division

Despite my setbacks regarding loot-based shooters, The Division still seemed to play well with friends and family, but its true nature is probably the most generous. The cover-based shots are functional, even if they’re not as good as Gears Of War, but in that sense it turns everything into an unfettered grind. I tried a series of bombers to be rewarded with a gun or a piece of clothing with slightly higher numbers, with no real effect on the game and I couldn’t use it quickly.

3. Monster Hunter: World.

The first step into the Monster Hunter world was my first, and most likely my last. I didn’t expect the boring gameplay to be at the heart of games like the game itself. To find more complicated monsters, I won’t wait to see how these monsters can get repetitive at all. Each hunt involves going out on the enemy for an hour to chase and repeat until he finally dies and you can pay your reward. Patience instead of skill.

Trying to be part of a family and friends is also a chore, with some limitations and hoops to shave to join other players. I’m glad it was released as part of the PlayStation 4 collection.

2. Red Dead Redemption 2:0

I was excited about this highly anticipated sequel to one of my favorite Xbox 360 games, and unfortunately Rockstar decided to continue developing a highly detailed world rather than simply providing players with something fun to do there. Even if you get a maximum of three hours, you might think that the most monotonous thing I’ve experienced in modern gaming is listening to stories from the most interesting time ever. Even if you see a little bit of action, the controls are just as clunky as in Rockstar games, making shootouts a lot less exciting than they should be. Let’s hope GTA six gets a little more fun!

1. Back 4 Blood.

I was very excited to see the successful Left 4 Dead games I had, and all my first impressions were very pleasant, thanks to an improved gunplay and a nice visual map that made it more interesting to show the character in many colors. In all cases, these are no more than two games that are more than ten years old. In time, missions, all in so-called unique settings, will be replaced by acts that all only take place in the same locations. And gone are the last escapes where all the hard working people tried to survive that last attack. Enemies of all types aren’t particularly interesting and don’t require the same level of teamwork for each opponent as those in Left 4. The biggest disappointment came on the PlayStation 4.
