Call of Duty fans aren’t surprised by the latest reveal for Modern Warfare II features

Prior to the release of MWII, Activision will be offering early access to open beta versions of the next CoD version starting Friday. PlayStation players will be the ones to experience the beta before users on other platforms have it. Recently, the famed Twitter account Modern War Zone dropped a piece of big news regarding the expected title.

In a tweet, ModernWarzone said they found FOV slider options in the PlayStation 5 version of Modern Warfare II. Not only that, there is also an option to enable a third person perspective. In addition, a new launcher is reportedly coming to the game as well. It will act as a Call of Duty Hub, according to the insider account’s tweet.

When it comes to having an advantage, the FOV slider plays an important role, and if it’s also on the console, the PlayStation users will also have the upper hand. However, it seems console players themselves aren’t terribly surprised by the latest reveal.

CoD enthusiasts are not shocked by the PS5 leak

Many of the players stated that the FOV has been on console since the last two entries, Cold War and Vanguard. Simply put, they found the information irrelevant and there was nothing new for them because they expected it.

On the other hand, few fans showed any interest in the third-person perspective feature, in case it is officially announced in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. But overall, they weren’t terribly stunned by the latest leak. “Wow, cool, we had this in the Cold War and Vanguard. There’s nothing special about this. We want that shit in Warzone, that’s what we’ve been asking for for the past 2 years…” wrote one user.
