Following the news that Disney Dreamlight Valley Already a million players listed since its September 6 release, developer and publisher Gameloft today released the latest patch notes for the game.

Some of the most notable changes made by the latest update are the tweaks to spawn rates and loot tables, mainly for various sparkling buried items, feeding critters, and clearing Night Thorns along the way.

The patch also included several bug fixes such as for the game’s UI, stability, and a handful of bugs that players encountered in some of the available quests in the game. Dreamlight Valley. One is the quest item for Donald Duck found in “A House Fit for a Duck” quest, where the item cannot be reached by players.

Gameloft ended the patch comments by thanking the fans for their patience regarding the bugs that occurred in the game. Disney Dreamlight Valley is available for platforms such as PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series XS, Switch, and PC.

Balance:

Custom Spawn Rates and Loot Tables for Sparkling Buried Items:

– Increased respawn timer range.
– Minimum and maximum amount of Sparkling Buried Items to spawn per biome at any given time.
– Added Dream Shards to the reward loot table.
– Each sparkling buried item has the chance to spawn 1-2 Night Shards or 1-2 Dream Shards.

Custom loot tables for feeding critters:

– Flowers removed from loot tables.
– Added Dream Shards to the Loot Tables when feeding critters something they “like”. Previously, it was only possible to get Dream Shards by giving critters something they “love”.

Custom loot tables for clearing night thorns

– Reduced chance of coal falling.
– Increased chance of Dream Shards falling.

Bug fixes:

General:

– Fixed bug #7 causing some players to experience an issue with the game sticking to the loading screen if they quit the game while having the “Well Fed” active buff.
– Fixed account desynchronization issue that occurred when selecting Back to Title Screen in Epic Games Store.
– Fixed an issue that caused some users to be unsynced from their profile due to connection latency.
– Improved online reconnection during gameplay.
– Improved Founder’s Pack rewards that claim accuracy and grant missing rewards. We will continue to monitor this issue and investigate further bug fixes as needed. If you encountered this bug: Completely close the game and restart it while connected to the internet. Then check your inbox for a new message with the missing items.

User interface and experience:

– Larger text font size on Switch.
– Increased loading speed of menus.

Stability:

– Reduced crash rate on Switch. Additional optimization will come in future updates.

Scavenger hunt:

– Fixed an issue where quest items would not appear in Scrooge McDuck’s Store. If you’ve experienced this bug: The item will not appear in Scrooge McDuck’s Store, but will spawn in a random unlocked location outside the village as a backup. If you cannot find the item, please feel free to contact customer service.
– Fixed an issue with WALL·E’s “The Shy Little Robot” quest with a fire extinguisher not working correctly. If you have experienced this bug: You can find a fire extinguisher waiting for you in Scrooge McDuck’s Store.
– Fixed an issue with a mission item from Donald Duck’s “A House Fit for a Duck” quest that appeared in an unreachable part of his house.
– Fixed an issue with Scrooge McDuck’s “Scrooge McDuck’s Grand Re-opening” quest where flower pot crafting was not working correctly. If you’ve experienced this bug, you can find additional flower pots just outside Scrooge McDuck’s Store. Remove them using the Furniture Editing Mode to tinker with them.
– Fixed an issue where mission items got stuck in the bottom of the Mystic Cave on the beach.
– Fixed an issue where completing Goofy’s “Fishing Expedition” quest would not work correctly when the player’s inventory was full.
– Fixed an issue where a Memory Shard appeared in an unreachable part of Merlin’s Dreamlight Library.
– Fixed an issue with Elsa’s “What Home Feels Like” quest where it was possible to catch a glittering herring too early in the quest. If you’ve experienced this bug, you can catch one more shimmering herring now. The other is removed at the end of the quest.

Customization (house, valley, avatar):

– Fixed an issue where chests placed in the player’s house may disappear when adding new rooms. If you have experienced this bug: add a new edited chest to your home. Your items that have disappeared will reappear here.
– Fixed an issue where players importing clothes from the Avatar Designer Tool could not change clothes or clothes appeared invisible.
– Fixed an issue where some Starpath rewards were available to acquire in areas of the game for which they were not intended.
– Fixed an issue with Ariel’s Seafoam Gown (Friendship Reward), showing it as invisible.
– Fixed an issue where the player could not cook on the Oven and Hood that Remy gave as a gift (Friendship Reward).

Miscellaneous:

– Modified Miguel motif.
