Is it possible for me to run GTA 6: Since Grand Theft Auto 6 has not been officially announced, there are no known system requirements. Our best estimates are below. Since it’s designed for next-generation platforms, the price tag will of course be higher than Grand Theft Auto 5. We expect you’ll need a minimum of 150GB of free space for game data.
A CPU at least as powerful as an Intel Core i5-6600K is required, but a Core i7-8700K is recommended. Grand Theft Auto 6 requires a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, with 16 GB being recommended. For the game to run smoothly, you need a graphics card that is at least as powerful as a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660, while an RTX 2070 is highly recommended.
Ten years have passed since Grand Theft Auto V and a lot has changed in the video game industry in that time. Given that Rockstar Games has a history of pioneering the industry, we can only assume that the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will be the launch platforms for GTA VI. There is no reason to expect a PlayStation 4 port of Grand Theft Auto 6. Grand Theft Auto VI may be a PS5-only release, meaning PS4 owners will be out of luck if they want to play it.
However, it won’t be exclusive to Sony’s system and will almost certainly be made available on Microsoft’s console as well. As with GTA 5, the game’s creators could make improvements and bring it to PC players in the future. Grand Theft Auto 6 for PC may not be released until late 2025 or early 2026. Both the console and PC versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 were released in 2013. That’s at least significantly faster than Marvel’s Spider-Man PC launch.
However, if the recent leak of GTA 6 is being tested on RTX 3080 and other graphics cards. GTA 6 System Requirements – full specs, system check and the gaming PC setup you need.

GTA 6 Map: Back to Vice City (confirmed)
Looking at all the Grand Theft Auto games, we can see that Los Santos has hosted two major games, Liberty City has hosted many and Vice City has only hosted one. This strongly suggests that Grand Theft Auto 6’s action will take place in the series’ signature Vice City (map pictured above).
The rumor matches Bloomberg’s claim, which says: GTA 6 takes place in and around Miami. After a hacker released several movies, many players started speculating that old favorites like the Malibu Club and Ocean’s View Hotel might be making a comeback in GTA Vice City. If that happens, it wouldn’t be uncommon for places like Starfish Island to return.
Missions in Caribbean Islands
Saint Mark’s Bistro was a quest in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. If you have to fly to Liberty City to take out a character, this task is unlike any other in the game. That area could not be visited in-game until this quest was completed. Now, according to a reputable leaker called Matheusvictorbr, Rockstar may try to replicate this in GTA 6. He explained how the Caribbean islands would play a role in GTA VI despite not being part of the main open area.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar tried something similar by adding a new city called Guarma. As with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, this area was inaccessible outside of certain missions. It would be premature to speculate as to why this area is being locked to normal gameplay at this point. However, let’s keep our fingers crossed that it will be Grand Theft Auto 6! As the past has shown, expanding the number of playable locations in open world games only increases the fun of those games.
GTA 6 may include Liberty City and Carcer City
According to a post-release rumor circulating on Xfire, both Carcer City and Liberty City will be playable in Grand Theft Auto 6. Modeled after New York City, Liberty City is a fan favorite and has appeared in three previous Grand Theft Auto games. (GTA3, San Andreasand 4).
Manhunt is set in Carcer City. The 2007 finale of this bloody horror game from Rockstar Games. While Manhunt wasn’t as popular as other Rockstar games, it did earn a devoted fan base. In addition, Carcer City has been shown to exist in the same reality as the GTA games, probably in the vicinity of Liberty City. It would be cool if Grand Theft Auto 6 returned in this ominous yet familiar setting.
To add insult to injury, the same article also claimed that Liberty City and Carcer City would not be included in the main game of GTA 6. Instead, they are located in different places that the gamers can travel to in their own time (perhaps with the aeroplane). Connecting the dots between this claim and the speculation of DLC-based destinations, it seems that Liberty City and Carcer City could be the first areas to be added to the game after the release of GTA VI.
GTA VI: Three Locations Canceled
It is already well known that Grand Theft Auto 6 will no longer have “Project Americas” on the world map. Nevertheless, as Stephen Totilo, co-author of the Axios Gaming weekly, explains, the original scope of this abandoned project was considerably wider than initially thought. He claims that the original plan for Grand Theft Auto 6 involved three cities and four protagonists.
The number of playable characters and explorable environments would have been an improvement over GTA V. However, as Rockstar Games would like, the number of protagonists has been reduced from three in the previous game to two in this one.
Will the map be expanded in GTA 6?
The phenomenal success of GTA Online taught the studio behind it an important lesson: people love updates to their favorite games. And it looks like Rockstar Games has been paying attention. At least that’s what GTA insider and freelance journalist Tom Henderson said in 2021 when he said the map will grow in GTA 6.
If true, GTA 6’s universe will grow over time with the release of downloadable content packs and event-based maps. GTA, which puts a premium on open-world experiences, has a huge budget and can undoubtedly match the frequency with which competitive first-person shooters like Valorant release new maps.
Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser made a similar comment about Polygon in September 2013, so this idea would make sense. According to him, “GTA’s DNA is contemporary-ish, American-esque, English-language, because that’s what it has been…” but that’s exactly what we’ve done so far; it’s not a hard and fast rule.
Detailed interior of buildings
GTA series players have repeatedly expressed their desire for improved and more explorable interiors. While GTA Online was a huge improvement in this regard, it still didn’t include all of the game’s structures. However, Grand Theft Auto 6 will reportedly feature more fully explorable interiors than any other open world game. If so, we can begin to understand why it’s been ten years since it debuted. Many of these rooms may become available as downloadable content once the game is released.
Does GTA 6 have an online multiplayer mode?
If the huge popularity of the current GTA Online multiplayer game (based on GTA V) is any indication, GTA 6 Online will undoubtedly come. On the other hand, we don’t have to settle for wild guesses. Several recently posted job postings on Rockstar Games’ career page include the phrase “online gameplay” in their summaries. This crucial piece of information points to the growth of future online multiplayer content in Grand Theft Auto 6. However, it’s also possible that this means new material for GTA 5 Online, which is extremely unlikely given their current workforce.
Single-player downloadable content with upcoming new cities
A leaker with a solid reputation called Tez2 has added fuel to the fire by suggesting that story-based DLCs will be available for Grand Theft Auto 6. According to a Tez2 post on the GTAForums, the downloadable material for Grand Theft Auto VI will are not available. contain new missions or locations, but instead serve to expand the existing story. The report adds that these cities will take the form of explorable islands with single-player missions. Still, it is possible that they will do multiplayer missions in GTA Online.
Weapons and stock
All indications point to the following firearms being playable in GTA 6:
- Apparently GTA 6 will only have room for one of each weapon type. However, some missions, such as those with a heist theme, may include the option to bring extra storage space for stolen goods.
- As was the case in previous games, most of Grand Theft Auto 5’s firearms will likely reappear in GTA 6. However, players who have seen the leaked movies claim that new weapons, such as a flashlight, speargun, golf ball, tracker jammer, pool cue and specialized golf clubs will be available to them.
- Some people on social media also said they saw evidence of an underwater recording in the hacked video. It’s a first for the GTA series, although we expect it to be a gun only like in Modern Warfare 2.
Grand Theft Auto 6: Latest Leaks and Rumors
- Allegedly, the stolen images contain allusions to Vice City. The Vice City Police Department (VCPD) cruisers and subway train (with Vice City engraved on the side) were seen in a clip.
- Eagle Eye is a feature in RDR2 from Rockstar Games which reveals all areas that the player can interact with in a particular area. GTA 6’s highly interactive setting could benefit from a similar addition to make it easier for players to detect signals and things.
- The mobile phone and internet system in GTA 5 were functional. Now, it looks like GTA 6 is building on that, as several Twitter users have said is launching a WhatUp! Message from Messenger in the leaked clip. If this is the case, in-game or online users may be able to communicate with each other through a chat system.
- Leaked images reportedly show crawling movements alongside squatting and hiding. Bending and crawling are the only new behaviors here.
- Finally, numerous Twitter users have noted that recent GTA 6 leaks offer improved character mobility. They said that the movements of the NPCs in GTA 6 feel more natural than in GTA 4. However, we have no idea if GTA 6 is reusing GTA 4’s physics engine, or if it’s all new.

Why might GTA 6 be just called “Grand Theft Auto”?
