
Fresh on the heels of last week Conan Exiles Age Of Sorcery Update, developer funcom released a follow-up patch, Conan Exiles update 1.80which contains a series of key fixes for the popular MMO.

Currently known issues
- Crom Coin purchases made in-game are not automatically reflected. To fix this problem, restart the game. Upon restart, all purchased Crom Coins will be correctly displayed on your balance.
- When your Crom Coins balance has been adjusted due to an in-game purchase, you will receive a UI popup informing you that an automatic chargeback has occurred on your account. This only means that your ingame balance has been adjusted. We are working on making this wording more accurate in a future patch.
- Maelstrom creatures are not allowed to despawn after the storm has passed on the Isle of Siptah.
- Yellow lotus potion (drink of natural learning) can erase acquired achievements from Isle of Siptah and from the Library of Esoteric Artifacts.
Performance and stability
- Fixed some crashes and instability issues that should result in better game stability.
- Fixed an issue with pairing that could cause network rubberbanding issues.
Exploit Corrections
- Fixed some exploits related to connectivity and event completion.
Build and install solutions
- Fixed an issue where Transportery Stones could be picked up with the construction tool after being activated.
- Using the Ice Bridge spell would cause the area to become invalid to build. We fixed this because sorcery is already terrifying.
- Building under an active Ice Bridge spell should now provide feedback on why you can’t do that, dumb outlaw.
- Moving the camera while casting Ice Bridge may prevent buildings from being placed afterwards. This has been resolved.
- Flotsam Gate Door should no longer be destroyed immediately upon removal.
- Fixed an issue that prevented side-grading from Stormglass Ramps to other types of Ramps.
- Sloping inverted walls should now be snapped to all available corners.
Create solutions
- Fixed an issue where multiple slaves could be placed in the Shallow Grave inventory.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Thralls in the Shallow Grave inventory to disappear after a server reboot.
- Fixed an issue where the corpse summoned in the Summon Corpse ritual was the first instead of the most recent.
- Tome of Kurak could have two recipes. This has been resolved.
- Fixed an issue where Tome of Kurak recipes gave more XP than intended.
Combat Solutions
- Spoiled characters should now take environmental damage, as intended.
- The Invisibility spell now offers full stealth, as intended.
- The Invisibility Spell now breaks as intended when interacting while under the influence.
- Resurrected Corpse summoned through the Raise Dead ritual can now be moved.
- HP Bars and Invisibility were not visible to clan members after casting the Invisibility spell. This has been resolved.
- Stone throwing weapons should now be able to be picked up again after use, as intended.
- Fixed an issue where spells could be cast during montage.
- Abyssal Arrows shot from Abyssal Bows may no longer be picked up. This interfered with the intended functionality (infinite arrows).
- Rock noses cannot be poisoned, as intended.
- Fixed an issue where neutral NPCs in the Camp of the Castaways could be disabled using specific battle settings.
- Spikes and Palisades no longer deal damage to players on PvE and PvE-C servers.
- Fixed an issue where certain alpha pets lost their knockback immunity when given a DLC skin.
AI and NPC
- Fixed an issue that could prevent placing converted Thralls in the world.
- The Sorcerer in Bastard’s Stand should now spawn correctly. The bastard.
- Mirror Mark must no longer prompt attacking AI to think about the meaning of life and existence in the banned lands.
- Borenaz The Shrouded was a Taskmaster instead of a Priest. We taught him his place.
- Resurrected Corpses should be your default now, just in time for the Halloween season.
- Demon followers can now become hostile to the player as intended.
- It was possible to have a human follower and Abyssal Call at the same time through the use of War-Party advantage. This has been resolved.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Abyssal Demons summoned from the Circle of Power from being affected by the Well-Trained perk.
- Thralls should no longer defecate when using Resurrect Corpse while reaching the population limit.
- You can no longer climb Abyssal Mounts until the ritual is complete, you prematurely.
- The Godly Celerity perk should now correctly affect zombies and Thralls.
- Bears in certain locations would become trapped and unable to attack. This was unbearable and we fixed it.
- Dina Master Huntress should no longer be part of the clone army and should now only spawn once at a time.
- We’ve put an end to the rampant debauchery that allowed other minions to be ridden while riding the Demon Bat.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Demon Rhino to have an infinite lifespan, stopping the potential danger of starting the Cult of the Eternal Rhino.
Purification and events
- Some NPCs would struggle to find their way around some events at Siptah locations. We’ve given them a map and compass to help them navigate their way to being mercilessly slaughtered the way Dennis intended.
Balance updates
- Large Scorpion and Queen Scorpion pets now have to use their correct attacks, resulting in an increase in damage.
- Increased damage dealt by Yeti followers.
General improvements
- Fixed a number of issues on consoles that caused many different assets to take an abnormal amount of time to load. This should address common issues about invisible armor, building pieces, enemies, and so on.
- Fixed an issue that prevented corruption from adding up when canceling the Soul Drain ritual.
- Sorcery Focus should now display correctly on Weapon Display Racks.
- Fixed an issue where the Stamina increase of the Grit’s Tenacity perk disappeared when points were placed in Agility.
- Exiting First Person mode should no longer trigger a Target Lock.
- The demonic rhinoceros model would duplicate after turning against the player, making the situation unnecessarily scarier than it should be. This has been fixed and your incoming Gruesome Tear should now display as intended.
- Fixed an issue that caused Silk to weigh more than Gossamer.
- One point of corruption was gained right after creating characters or resetting attributes. This has been resolved.
- Fixed an issue that caused the wrong travel step when entering the wizard’s cave.
- Sealed Waterskin items placed close to the spawn area were invisible. This has been resolved.
- Attribute points were not properly reset and reduced in size when updating an older version of the game. This has been resolved.
- Grass may no longer appear through foundations after teleporting.
- Destination stones would still be visible even from a great distance. This has been resolved.
- Wizard Banks would not comply with the “No Ownership” server setting, which is now fixed.
- Adjusted the “Learn Darfari Banner” customization window because it caused unintended problems.
- Addressed some terrain gaps and invisible textures on the terrain.
- Fixed some issues related to the Cursed Wall.
- Fixed some terrain, environmental, and visual imperfections in the Exiled Lands and Siptah.
Terrain and surroundings
- Adjusted the “Learn Darfari Banner” customization window because it caused unintended problems.
- Addressed some terrain gaps and invisible textures on the terrain.
- Fixed some issues related to the Cursed Wall.
- Fixed some terrain, environmental, and visual imperfections in the Exiled Lands and Siptah.
Animation and cinematic solutions
- Fixed an issue where it was possible to skip the Cursed Wall movie while riding a Demon Bat.
- Fixed a lot of visual imperfections with spells and rituals, which should result in a more polished sorcery experience.
- Fixed a large number of player animation issues when interacting with or being affected by certain spells.
- Fixed an issue that could cause animations to break when using dodge while interacting with a Sorcery workbench.
UI and text
- We’ve made some #spellchekkers productive again, correcting some typos.
- Prompts received when upgrading the Grimmoire should now be more consistent.
- Fixed an issue that allowed challenges to be re-rolled without claiming the previous rewards.
- Fixed an issue where rewards were claimed when browsing tabs simultaneously.
- Fixed an issue that caused the zombies HP bar to display one frame after they spawn.
- In some languages, categories in the building inventory are truncated. This has been resolved.
- UI elements would not stack correctly with a buff and bat demon. This has been resolved.
- The Resurrected Corpse diet tab was empty. We returned the yummies to those mummies.
- Wizard pets had placeholder icons. They have now been replaced by the correct ones.
- The 4th dye slot for the Redeemed Legion Pauldron could not be selected. This has been resolved.
- Part of the “Choose a perk” prompt was not interactive. This has been resolved.
- Fixed an issue where the Stats window would sometimes give incorrect information about the bonus stamina or health gained by items.
- Wizards had the same icon as priest-slaves. This has been resolved.
- The radial menu for the Abyssal Mount would have two mount options. This has been resolved.
- Fixed an issue where the “Restore Defaults” button did not affect two specific server settings.
- Equipping the construction hammer without any construction performance should now give proper feedback.
- Fixed an issue that prevented renaming, sorting, or marking Thrall slots on the Thaumaturgy bank using a controller.
Audio Solutions
- Fixed some issues where SFX was missing in Sorcery spells.
- Completing challenges should now play the correct SFX.
- The old menu music is back! Bring back those nostalgic glasses.
- Fixed an issue where battle music would not start under certain conditions.
- Implemented a new audio effect for removing specific builds.
