5 Coop is a must

Let there be carnage. As mentioned earlier, Destroy all humans! 2 Re-probed enables split-screen cooperative play as players become Crypto and ‘Friend’. Players can play together freely from the different locations or take on side missions and challenges.

Alternatively, friends can play through the entire storyline of the game if they wish. By playing the game on Steam, players can enjoy the game locally or an owner can use Steam Share to invite another player to their game without having to own a copy. Whatever drives the Furon.

4 Complete that main story

Whether solo or with a friend, it’s recommended that players browse through the main storyline before delving deeper into it. By completing the main campaign, players gain access to more or better weapons, skills, upgrades, locations, etc., if not all of them. With all unlocked gear, players can roam freely with their mega arsenals unopposed.

Depending on the difficulty, players can expect to complete the main storyline in about 11-14 hours. The main game features over 30 story missions and players can expect some segments to be more difficult than others. As players progress and unlock new areas, they will see their powers and arsenal expand, and who wouldn’t want that?

3 How to perform upgrades?

Map awareness is usually the key to getting all that important information. Although it is a casual game, players who pay attention to what is on their card will usually get the goods first. Yellow symbols represent the main goals, while white symbols and diamonds represent the secondary goals. Moving forward means getting the right upgrades. To do this, players need to get the most out of the Gene Blender (which can be tricky) and it’s all about attacking those associated buildings.

Players are advised to focus on getting the blue Furotech Reactors. Although extremely rare, these items will speed up weapon and armor upgrades, allowing players to stay in battle longer. Players need to clearly see which upgrades should be prioritized first, because once committed, these reactors are gone (although they can be repaid with some brain juice). Players can also take time between missions and perform some good old-fashioned kidnappings to increase their stock of valuable genetic mass for the gene mixer.

2 Get Saucy With The Dish

When players don’t zap unsuspecting pedestrians or burn cannon fodder on the ground, they’ll take to the skies with their trusty flying saucer. The saucer is another way for players to control anger below as it is equipped with different weapon variants to satisfy each player’s desire for destruction. It’s the perfect sci-fi cherry on top.

Like its predecessor, each area has different landing zones in which Crypto can spawn. Players must explore and discover each of the hidden landing zones to unlock them and use them in the future. To do this, players must complete tasks for the Furon god, Arkvoodle. While the saucer is great for destruction and for traveling around, players should also take note of Crypto’s SKATE ability. The ability allows players to get on maps and out of frenetic encounters with people faster. Nice!

1 Juice Up That PK

Aside from all the brilliant weapons available, Crypto also has access to some dastardly cunning mental powers that allow him to blend in with the crowd, erase memories, and fling bodies into power grids. PK or psychokinetic skills represent the real fun in the Destroy all people franchisee.

While players can throw around unsuspecting civilians and enemies like rag dolls, PK also does a lot more. After an upgrade, players can have vehicles, machines and tanks lying around with ease, which is not only fun to do, but can also prove to be a lifesaver in dire situations. Objects (explosive) can also be thrown into the mix to spice things up. Although the PK bar starts low, players need to upgrade this particular skill and let the chaos begin.

Destroy all humans! 2: Re-probed launches August 30 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
