Lost in the game is a fun and adventurous game that revolves around 2 siblings who find their way back home. The point-and-click game allows people to solve puzzles and befriend magical creatures on their journey. Play as Toto and Gal as they use their imaginations to escape monsters in the forest and find items to fulfill their missions.
Developed by Happy Juice Games, Lost in the game offers plenty of interesting puzzles to solve and locations to explore. There are plenty of things to do in Lost in the game as the brother and sister duo descend into a fantasy world. Players can extract a sword from a stone, build a flying machine and serve tea to royal guests, among other activities in the game. Here are a few tips for beginners who want to complete Lost in the game.
10 Complete the red sundial to get the kettle
One of the earliest items that humans can collect in the game is a kettle. To get the kettle, Gal has to walk up the ladder to the right of the door. Gal will encounter a yellow bird, a royal frog and a leprechaun having a picnic. Place an empty cup on the board and the gnome gives Gal a key to the door.
Once Gal has the key, she can walk back to the door on the ladder to use it. The key is not enough to open the door. Players must turn the panel over take a picture of a red sun to unlock the door. The door opens and Gal is given a kettle after completing the red sun image.
9 Fix the clock to wake up
After getting the kettle, Gal will reach her bedroom, where players can watch her brother, Toto, sleeping like a log. Gal must find a screwdriver, a clock winder and a battery cell to fix the clock on the shelf. The clock can be used to wake up her brother.
The screwdriver is on the top row of the shelf in her bedroom. She can interact with the toy robot in the room to get a battery cell. Open the cabinet at the bottom of the shelf to find the clock winder. Once players have all 3 items, they can click on the clock to fix it. Use the screwdriver to open the back of the clock, insert the battery cell and move the gears to secure the clock. Place the fixed clock next to Toto to wake him up.
8 Move the livestock into position using the sheepdog
Lost in the game has a number of minigames to excite newcomers to the point-and-click game genre. Walk down the stairs from the bedroom and go past the door with the dartboard on it. Pick up the yellow bell that is on the wooden dressing table next to the sofa.
Take the yellow bell and walk back to the room with the stairs. Use the yellow bell to communicate with the sheepdog on the stairs. This allows players to play a minigame. To finish the mini-game, use the sheepdog to chase the cattle on the spots with X on them. Players can use the ball to play fetch with the sheepdog after the minigame is over.
7 Corner the dark pawn
Gal turns into a wild beast and chases Toto into the forest. Players must find a way to distract the wild beast and safely communicate with the creature that is in the tree and is being attacked by the wild beast. Use the branch of the tree to grab the red cap hanging from the tree. Give the red hat to the frog and he will help you distract the wild beast.
Once the wild beast turns away from the tree, Toto can crawl into the trunk on the ground and interact with the creature that is in the tree. It will start a mini-game that requires Toto put a dark pawn in a corner with 4 white pawns. Move the white pawns without getting the dark pawn on the other side of the checkerboard. Toto can easily corner the dark pawn with 3 white pawns if done correctly.
6 Befriend the frogs in the forest
The frogs are very useful in the game. Toto can use his charm to befriend the frogs in the forest. Toto can hand the red hat to the frog in the forest to gain their trust. The frogs will distract the wild beast, help Toto grab a can opener that’s out of reach, and eat flies that surround Toto.
Toto can click on the sword that is inserted into the stone. The frogs will gather behind Toto to give him the power to pull the sword out of the stone. The frogs in the forest are among the friendliest critters that players can befriend in the point-and-click game.
5 Drop Gal on the circle
Bile can be a threat to deal with in the woods. She turns into a giant wild beast that chases Toto in the forest. Players can free the frog tied to the tree to collect a rope. Activate the stones at the cave entrance to collect the stone with a snake on it. Insert the stone with the snake emblem into the rock where the frog is standing.
Rotate the stone from left to right until the stone is activated. Once the stone starts to glow, it should activate the circle on the ground. Toto can place the rope near the glowing circle and wait for the wild beast to step in. Toto can push the wild beast onto the glowing circle to chase the wild beast away and reveal Gal.
4 Collect the rubber ducks
There are 4 rubber ducks that can be collected on the street. Solve the puzzle with the five stone frogs to collect the first rubber duck. Use the phone booth on the street to order a pizza and place the pizza on the floor to collect the second rubber duck. Talk to the old woman sitting on the couch to get the third rubber duck.
The fourth rubber duck can be found in the container next to the telephone booth. Mount these four rubber frogs and offer them to the goblin sitting on the stork into the river to complete the stage.
3 Save Toto from being eaten by the fish
Toto and Gal go on a sea expedition. Toto finds a treasure chest on a small island and tries to open it when a monstrous fish swallows it. Toto is left alone in an attempt to rescue Toto from the belly of the fish. Get the respirator of the fish and dive under the water to help Toto.
Play the bird scratching game and win to get his help. The bird flies to the fish that Toto ate and releases the treasure chest after winning the scratching game. Dive underwater and wake up the Angler Fish to play the Jelly Fish mini-game. Complete the Jelly Fish puzzles to collect a glow stick. Gal can use the glowstick to rescue Toto from the Fish’s belly.
2 Redirect the light in the caves
Enter the underground cavern with Toto and walk to the tunnel to find a dragon mask on a pedestal. Players can use the combination of X, down arrow, right arrow, and left arrow to unlock the dragon mask in the cave. With the dragon mask, Toto can see a spectacular world of puzzles where players must redirect the light to the right panel.
There are 4 different puzzles to solve with the dragon mask. Place the mask over Toto’s face and move the animals with the stones on their backs until the light hits the stone in the last panel. Collect the crown after solving the light puzzles and exit the cave.
1 Build a flying machine together
Gal and Toto can join forces to build a beautiful flying machine. Pass the roller skates, the dragon mask and scroll to the woman who is toiling at the workbench. The man on the other side of the workbench will give the instructions for building a flying machine.
Read the instructions carefully and use the included tools to build the flying machine. Once the wiring is in the flying machine, place the dragon mask in front to turn it on. Toto and Gal can use the flying machine to travel to exotic locations and meet new monsters in the game.
