7 Roronoa Zoro Skin

Fans who may have played Ghost of Tsushima on PS4 or PS5 in the Japanese dub will know that the voice actor of Jin Sakai is indeed the voice of the iconic Kazuya Nakai who plays Roronoa Zoro in A piece. Not only is this link in the voice acting aspect, but given the similarities in the context of Samurai as the lineage of Zoro, there is one more connected to Wano Country, which is based on Japan.

Despite not having many options in terms of skins of the current games, Zoro is present for modders to choose from, it would be an ideal mod for fans of the popular Manga and anime while being the full Zoro mod that many fans have been waiting to see in games apply.

6 Enma Sword Kit

While we are talking about samurai and A piece, the addition of the sword “Enma” would be a preferred addition for fans, adding to the plethora of options players already have in the game. This would be one of the collections of swords from other stories, be it movie, anime, or games that players can almost certainly see implemented when possible.

For new players, this can potentially add to what the base game has to offer and enhance their experience even more. If Sucker Punch is able to make this title mod-friendly, it would be very beneficial for players looking to tweak their playstyle, in the sense of whether it will replace the current sword kits or increase the number.

5 New hairstyles

Despite the presence of customization for outfits, masks and headgear, Ghost of Tsushima does not contain any way for the player to customize Jin Sakai’s hairstyle. This could ultimately come down to Sucker Punch’s design choices and the idea of staying lore-specific.

In the possible release on PC, fans will wait to see if the game engine would allow modders to customize such features in the game, similar to what players can use in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with the help of NVIDIA Hairworks.

4 Multiplayer skins/outfits

Sucker Punch was the subject of much praise, not just based on how well Ghost of Tsushima‘s campaign, as well as adding a free multiplayer experience for owners of the game known as Ghost of Tsushima: legends. This contained a huge amount of outfits, skins and classes that players could unlock through challenges.

While it’s not out of the question that this will be implemented later by Sucker Punch itself, players who wanted to use the outfits exclusively for multiplayer would like to see this available in the game’s campaign. This would help serve the purpose of allowing players to fine-tune and customize their playstyle to their liking.

3 Additional enemy attack animations

One of the more prominent reasons Ghost Of Tsushima is so acclaimed is its unique combat that allows players to use five different modes, including the ‘Ghost’ mode. Similar to what modders have done with Sloclap’s Sifu, introducing several movesets, allowing the player to emulate some of the moves enemies can emulate against Jin would be a nice addition.

While fans await confirmation or any revelation about a possible sequel, this would be the perfect mod to keep players engaged as it would open up new and more exciting duels with enemies that ultimately offer a new gameplay experience.

2 Import Soundtrack

Many fans familiar with the game’s soundtrack will know how well-suited it is to combat scenarios and cutscenes. With the recent PC port of Insomniac Games spiderman, modders have found a way to use other soundtracks in traversal. Except there is currently no confirmation of Ghost of Tsushima Coming to PC, it would rely heavily on game files and whether they are mod compatible.

Adding such a feature would lead many to use soundtracks suited to their needs, possibly going hand-in-hand with skin and outfit mods. While the OST for the title has been widely acclaimed, the option to add to it can aid accessibility.

1 More consistent finishers

In the midst of stealth or activating the Ghost stance, the player can neutralize enemies with specific finishers and executions. Whether it’s as enemies fall to the ground in fear, enemies crawl in pain, or stalk Mongolian leaders for a beheading, players have a variety of playstyles to choose from.

Since a potential sequel could expand on finishers and playstyles, a mod that allows certain moves to happen more occasionally would re-fine the gameplay to the needs of the players.

Ghost of Tsushima is available on PS4 and PS5.
