New mobile games appear in the App Store every day, so every week we compile a big old list of the best new releases from the past seven days. Previously, the App Store would showcase the same games for a week and refresh those features every Thursday. That’s why developers have gotten into the habit of releasing their games all Wednesday or very early Thursday to hopefully get their hands on one of those coveted features. Today, the App Store is constantly refreshing, reducing the need for everyone to release everything on the same day. Still, we kept our weekly Wednesday night format, because for years people knew to check TouchArcade for the list of new games.
