FromSoftware should spend time making the open world feel even more inhabited by even giving more NPCs and players the choice to save or help them reach a HUB world free of danger and the signature misery that NPCs face after quests.

6 Bosses, bosses and more bosses

Fans are divided on one of the biggest aspects of Dark Souls 2, the bosses. In Dark Souls 2, there is practically a boss waiting for a player in every room. Some enjoy this feature and the challenge it presents for a large, intimidating enemy to test a player’s might. Elden Ring has a good amount of bosses but some feel copy and paste.

With a sequel to Elden Ring, the game should focus on the main bosses as much as the first game, but also pay a lot of respect to the side and optional bosses. The ones on their way to the main course.

5 Sekiro’s Parry System

One of the most satisfying gaming experiences will always be inside Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The game is FromSoftware’s attempt at a single-player story-driven game, but one that feels just as free and difficult as their other titles. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice features a great combat system that is unique to itself.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has a parry system where the player can perfectly time a parry which is an incredibly satisfying feeling. In addition, it allows them to attack their enemies better. This feature should be in all future FromSoftware games because of how accurate and fun it is.

4 More collaborative writing

When it came to the process of Elden Ring, many fans speculated about the involvement of famed fantasy writer George RR Martin. Martin’s work is prolific and is adored for his works on the books that made the HBO show, Game of Thronesand the prequel series, House of the Dragon. Martin’s involvement with Elden Ring was to help create the characters and the world before the Elden Ring was shattered.

It’s great to see a collaborative effort between video game developers, creatives, and authors. It helps authenticate worlds that the public may not have expected. There are plenty of opportunities to collaborate in art, and hopefully fans will see more of it.

3 Bloodborne Dash

After Dark Souls 2FromSoftware has teamed up with Japan Studio and Sony Entertainment to bring players a unique experience for the PlayStation 4. Bloodborne was that experience. In a cursed city that harbors a deadly mystery, the player becomes a hunter, forced to fight an endless night of hunting. Armed with knives and a lot of blood, the game still has a huge fan base even 7 years later.

One of the best features to hatch Bloodborne was that of the dash. Players could no longer roll, but instead would run forward or backward in an easily controlled and fast manner. This feature made the game feel faster, with faster and smoother combat rather than defensive play.

2 PvP Arenas

One of the many reasons players love the FromSoftware games is because of their intricate focus on combat and the many different builds players can use. Players like to test each other and what they can do through PvP, a feature that seems to be conspicuously absent Elden Ring.

PvP is in Elden Ringbut not to the invasive extent of the dark souls titles. Even in the souls games allow players to enter a special arena and fight against other players without consequences. A Elden Ring sequel should have a similar function so people can fight each other for fun.


1 Full Co-Op

Many gamers still crave an open world co-op experience. Elden Ring has done its best to accommodate this, as most FromSoftware games can be played completely with a friend, but reset after player defeat or boss death. Elden RingThe sequel should make the game fully co-op, without the need for a subpoena.

While the game can be played in co-op, it is somewhat limited as Torrent, the player’s trusted place, is not available in co-op. This means that traveling through an open world is impossible, and the game limits players to certain areas when they are together.
