Welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight! I, @zombiepie, am once again honored to be your host as we look back on the best community-created works from the past week. Hopefully everyone enjoyed EVO 2022 this past weekend as many of you even took the time to join the Giant Bomb chat while the event was in progress. For future reference, if you or a community feel like a big game conference or event is keeping the chat open for the special occasion, please reach out to Rorie on Twitter or Discord. While there is no guarantee that the request will be accepted, these are the channels to make your voice heard in the first place.
When it comes to the new t-shirts, we have a few updates. Like last week, the site’s store managers are working to address production issues. As part of these production controls, the new shirt designs are temporarily unavailable until the print centers pass a quality check. If you want to learn more about the issue, you can find it here: a link to Rorie’s on-site post about the issue. Also, don’t forget to email support@giantbomb.com if the shirts you ordered come back and don’t match what was advertised.
Some of you have sent emails in support of receiving an email with the subject line “Welcome to Giant Bomb”. This email is NOT FAKE, and instead, part of a final check by Rorie to set up the weekly newsletter feature. While there is no official ETA on when we can expect a return of the weekly newsletter, progress is being made.
Finally, for those who noticed that the forum comment box didn’t work in Firefox, the problem should be solved now! If you’re still having trouble commenting while using Firefox, post a comment in the thread linked in the previous sentence! Oh, and Jan wants you all to know you are the BEST community on the web!
