Original story (published April 15, 2021) follows:

Many Smite, Paladins and Realm Royale players have clambered to Twitter and Reddit claiming that the games won’t be available on Xbox, PS4, PC and other platforms.

Seeing thousands of users daily, these three popular games from Hi-Rez Studios are some of the company’s most recent games.

Like most other modern games, the developers add new features or squash bugs through server-side updates or patches to keep things running smoothly.

But for the past few hours, players have been scratching their heads looking for more information about why Smite, Paladins, and Realm Royale are available on Xbox, PS4, PC, and other platforms.

The outage for Smite has also been recorded on the official Xbox status page, indicating that it has not yet been fixed.

But before you call Microsoft or Sony to fix the issue on Xbox or PS4, you should know that this downtime was planned.

Smite, Paladins, and Realm Royale are all unavailable on Xbox, PS4, PC, and other platforms due to scheduled server maintenance.

At the moment, only Rogue Company – developed by Hi-Rez Studios – is operational.

However, it seems that the maintenance is taking longer than usual. This has led some players to poke fun at the developers.

Not sure if there is actual maintenance. I think the servers may have just given up unsupervised. (Source)
