Path of Titans has a vast selection of dinosaurs for players to choose from and has also added a few fan favorites. However, to be the king of dinosaurs, there are a few that are at the top for their abilities and achievements; using the right creature is paramount to succeed in the game and develop a custom dinosaur so that it becomes a real threat to deal with needs worth it. Here are some of the best carnivores in Path of Titans.
7 Daspletosaurus
The Daspletosaurus is one of the most harmful creatures in Path of Titans; closely related to and considered the T-Rex of the game, the Daspletosuarus is a two-legged dinosaur with small appendages for arms with sharp claws.
The main point of damage, however, is the mouth of the Daspletosaurus, which contains dozens of razor-sharp teeth and can use multiple high damage abilities, some of which even break bone on contact. Its crushing bite ability severely damages even the toughest dinosaur and can injure prey even further to hinder movement; even the Daspletosuarus’ speed can be increased by sacrificing defenses so that it can always keep up with its target.
6 Latinivenitrix
The little dinosaur monster is nothing to underestimate; the Latinivenitrix is a fast and deadly creature in the game that quickly takes apart a single target while making it difficult to find and attack.
The Latiniventrix uses his small stature to roam through undergrowth and trees to encounter his prey before they even know it’s there; it has a moderately damaging bite and can extend a fierce bark to buff other raptor class creatures, greatly increasing their damage. The usefulness and speed of the Latiniventrix can be a powerful support for any group and cannot be easily countered in Path of Titans.

Another big name made hugely popular by the Jurassic Park movie Franchise, the Spinosaurus is a massive apex predator that dominates most other dinosaur species in its class. The Spinosaurus is one of the few dinosaurs that can traverse both land and underwater, making it a significant threat to all types of enemies.
The Spinosaurus also has several abilities that increase its damage, defense, and movement speed; this gives the Spinosaurus a group size of 5, leaving little room for much else. More than a fun creature to try out, the Spinosaurus is highly recommended for solo and small group play.
4 Metriacanthosaurus
A closer relative to the Raptor and T-Rex that is more notable, the Metriacanthosaurus is a medium-sized creature with high speed and survivability in Path of Titans. Like the Latiniventrix, the Metriacanthosaurus also has a supporting role and is best used in a larger group. His Claw Strike ability quickly deals heavy damage to his targets, making a drive-by attack a strong option.
In addition, the Metriacanthosaurus possess the Venom Bite ability, which strikes targets with venom, hinders their regeneration and drains their stamina for a moderate duration. The Metriacanthosaurus only has a pack size of 2, so mating with larger predators is a viable strategy.
3 Concavenator
The Concavenator specializes in shrinking larger prey so they can’t escape; a member of the medium class of dinosaurs in path of titans, the Concavenator deals heavy bleeding damage and uses its high speed to dodge attacks and flee from more powerful creatures.
Players who enjoy the minimal contact style of play will look forward to stepping behind the controls of the Concavenator as it only has a group size of two; the Concavenator can do well in a large pack or as support for a much larger dinosaur to break apart prey targeting the larger threat.
2 Ceratosaurus
The Ceratosaurus is one of the most versatile dinosaurs in the world Path of Titans; many viable play styles are available to players due to the wide variety of skills that are great for playing solo and as part of a group. The Ceratosaurus has above average survivability and offensive damage, making it at home on the front lines as the primary damage dealer or the tank.
The Ceratosaurus benefits from both the Thick Scales trait for extra armor and the Bone Break ability, which deals significant damage depending on how long the ability is charged. With a group size of 2, a whole pack of these devils is a force to be reckoned with.
1 Alioramus
The Alioramus is a movement-based dinosaur; his abilities give him extra movement speed and maneuverability at the expense of defense. Due to the low survivability, players would be better off dismembering a target using catch and release tactics while part of a pack.
The Alioramus has the bite ability, so the damage isn’t incredible; battles against the Alioramus, however, are very one-sided because it’s hard to hit what can’t be caught. A group size of two makes the Alioramus a perfect partner for a Spinosaurus or a Raptor pack.
