NOVECT (formerly Novectacle) released a second trailer for their all-new title called Project code name Mstill in development for PlayStation 4, Switch and PC (Steam). This second trailer focuses on the gameplay from the detective’s perspective and features groovy music from Callasoiled.
If you haven’t heard, NOVECT has also developed The house in Fata Morganawhich received great feedback and was also reviewed here at RPGfan. Project code name M is their latest project – a visual adventure novel about a series of murders in central Tokyo in modern Japan. The game consists of two parts: the detective and the murderer plan the perfect crime scene.
However, NOVECT has not yet announced a release date. The company stated that they are aiming for a 2023 release. Here’s what they said on their official blog page:
This work is larger in scope than the previous one, The House at Fata Morgana, and it is no exaggeration to say that my life and the fate of NOVECT are at stake. I promise to deliver the best. We haven’t set a release date yet (as we don’t have a publisher yet), but the development itself is progressing well, and my personal goal is in 2023. However, as we are inevitably a small development team, please let’s not commit to any date at this time . However, this does not mean it will be 4-5 years from now, and we will update you on the status if necessary.
