How to Access the Modern Warfare 2 Open Beta
As you can see above, the first beta weekend is only available for PlayStation consoles. Each beta weekend also includes an early access period, which you can get by pre-ordering Modern Warfare 2.
If you have an early access beta code, you can enter it into your Activision account. Beta codes are not tied to a specific platform, so you can play the beta on any console or PC you own. This means those who pre-order the PC copy will have access to the early beta on PlayStation if they also own a PS4 or PS5.
If you don’t want to pre-order, the open beta will be available between September 18 and 20 on PlayStation and on all platforms from September 24 to 26.
What does the Modern Warfare 2 beta include?
Details are currently light on what to expect from Modern Warfare 2’s open beta, but Infinity Ward recently confirmed in a blog post that it will deliver a “robust multiplayer experience beyond the Core 6v6 experience with a variety of carefully designed cards of different sizes. , and an equally impressive array of modes”.
