Mark Zuckerberg’s metaverse selfie is now the target of netizens. Earlier, the billionaire posted his virtual selfie to show that the so-called Horizon Worlds is expanding in Spain and France.

The Meta CEO’s viral post was able to generate more than 100,000 comments, 17,000 comments and 7,500 shares on Facebook.
But 24,000 of these comments are “haha”, clearly showing that thousands of users find the post quite funny.
“I look forward to seeing people explore and build immersive worlds, and to bring this to more countries soon,” Zuckerberg said via his official Facebook announcement post.

They specifically criticize Zuckerberg’s metaverse selfie for its quality.
According to the latest report from PC Gamer, Meta has already spent $10 billion improving its metaverse platforms, such as the Horizon Worlds; a virtual online video game platform that works with Oculus Quest 2 and Oculus Rift.
Because of Mark’s poor metaverse selfie quality, many critics compared it to Second Life, an online media platform that allows users to create their own avatars.
They said that the quality of Meta’s metaverse platforms is nowhere better than the Second Life multimedia system.
Twitter Users Criticize Metaverse Selfie
Although Mark Zuckerberg posted his metaverse selfie, many users decided to use Twitter to bash his virtual reality creation.
Perhaps because the billionaire owns Facebook. Now, many Twitter users who saw Zuckerberg’s virtual selfie photo asked why Horizon Worlds is the worst compared to the 2006 “Wii” version.
On the other hand, others claimed that “Twisted Metal 2” has better virtual reality effects. Now imagine comparing a next-generation technology to the technology developed in the 1990s.
Because the quality of Zuckerberg’s metaverse selfie is questionable to some, many people are now posting the photo alongside other metaverse games and platforms.
