Fnatic Streak 65 LP: One Minute Rating
SPECIFICATION SHEET
Here are the key specs for the Fnatic Streak 65 LP:
Keyboard type: mechanical
Mate: 65%
Switches: FNATIC SPEED (low profile), ultra-fast Kailh Choc V2
Connectivity: Wired, USB-C
Memory: On-board
OS Support: Windows 10 and 11. Mac OS, Chrome OS
Compatibility: PC, laptop, PS4/5, Xbox and Mac
The Fnatic Streak 65 LP has performance at its heart, but doesn’t compromise on aesthetics. It is a mechanical keyboard that’s a low profile and comes with a compact 65% layout, built-in memory, beautiful RGB lighting, and custom Fnatic Speed Kailh Choc V2 orange switches, which Fnatic claims are the fastest mechanical switches on the market.
It’s also incredibly affordable. Some of the best gaming keyboards on the market today are much more expensive and, in important ways, can’t compare to the Streak 65 LP. We think the LP could have easily cost an extra $20-30 and was still worth it.
Fnatic Streak 65 LP: Price and Availability
- Extremely reasonably priced
- Available on Fnatic and Amazon website
The Fnatic Streak 65 LP costs $119.99 (£110.00, about AU$171) which is more than reasonable when you consider its features: the RGB, the custom Kailh switches, the textured doubleshot PBT keycaps and the noise damping. It is for sale on the Fnatic website. It is also available on Amazon (opens in new tab) in black and Amazon UK (opens in new tab) where the Streak 65 LP (white (opens in new tab)) is currently offered at a 5% discount.
The Fnatic Streak 65 LP is pretty close to making its way to the top of the pecking order. The HyperX Alloy Origins 65 has a 1.8mm actuation point and 3.8mm travel, which falls a little too far behind the LP. However, it has a life cycle of 80 million keystrokes, 10 million more than the LPs.
Meanwhile, the Corsair K65 Mini is the LP’s closest competitor, with a life cycle of 100 million keystrokes and a trigger point down to 0.2mm, with its Cherry MX Red switches, but it’s a brutal 60%, not 65%, and it is more expensive. And the LP’s own antecedent, the Streak 65, which was already a pretty decent mechanical keyboard, deserves a solid mention but pales in comparison.

Fnatic Streak 65 LP: Draft
- Aluminum metal construction
- Sound dampening
- Beautiful RGB lighting
The Fnatic Streak 65 LP mechanical gaming keyboard is stunningly designed. It is available in black and white; we reviewed the white version. At first glance it seems relatively simple, but on closer inspection the details are extremely pleasing. And that’s before you turn it on and see its breathtaking RGB.
It’s a 65% keyboard, so much more compact than a full-size one. And at 420 grams, it is quite lightweight. Across the top spine is a removable magnetic Fnatic board, which can be swapped out, though Fnatic doesn’t currently sell replacements. There’s quite a bit of branding: “Fnatic”, again, on the top plate, Fnatic’s logo on the spacebar and STREAK on the side.
On either side of the base are two extendable rubber feet, which open to the side instead of the back. On the underside of the keyboard are gray rubber grips with good grip.
The keycaps are white textured doubleshot PBT with gray translucent lettering. The secondary functions of the keys, accessible via the FN key, are printed on the front. The keycaps aren’t full-sized, revealing the orange Kailh switches and making the RGB lighting more noticeable. Screws can be seen under the keys, which may be a nice accent for some, but an eyesore for us.
The detachable 6-foot USB-C cable is not only braided but also coiled, which is quite unusual in a modern keyboard, and quite pleasant to look at.
Fnatic Streak 65 LP: Performance
- Lifetime of 70 million keystrokes
- Custom Fnatic Kailh Choc V2 Orange Switches
- Low profile so less strain on fingers and wrists
The mechanical gaming keyboard Fnatic Streak 65 LP performs excellently. The unobtrusive keys, switches and form factor make it comfortable to use for longer without straining the wrist.
The keycaps, being doubleshot PBT, will not wear out quickly. They feel pleasant to use and, thanks to extra foam in the bottom of the keyboard, they make little noise. The sound that can be heard is a dull thump, rather than a heavy hollow sound carried by the board like many gaming keyboards we tested.
The Streak 65 LP has a polling rate of 1000 Hz and 8 MB of internal memory. The switches used are Fnatic’s Speed Kailh Choc V2 orange switches; they are linear and have 1.1mm switch actuation and 3.2mm travel distance, even shorter than the Cherry MX Red, considered one of the best gaming keyboard switches.
Due to the travel distance, the switches react super fast. The keys feel very stable and solid. They have hardly any wobble, and the pre-lubricated stabilizers make them a gamer’s dream. And a gamer’s dream is a typist’s dream: the keyboard provides a smooth typing experience.
If you play games at high speed, you can really see the Streak 65 LP flourish. FPSs like Valorant and Destiny 2 are satisfying to play. The keyboard feels precise and responsive, and we find that the more intense the game, the more you can really appreciate the build quality of the keyboard.
Then there’s the breathtaking lighting, which rivals the equally breathtaking RGB lighting of the HyperX Alloy Origins 65. The LP can display 16.8 million colors, which are fully customizable in Fnatic’s OP software (we mean the name is actually “OP”, not an exaggeration). This software allows you to manage the color, frequency and even direction of lighting. There are eight patterns to choose from, including ‘rain’, ‘wave’ and ‘reactive’.
OP also allows you to set macros and remap keys. The program isn’t as powerful as Roccat’s Swarm software, but it’s certainly not below par.
Many keys have secondary functions, which can be accessed with the FN key. Fn + c toggles a very Fnatic mode, Competition mode. This reduces the light intensity and disables the Windows key.
There are four programmable keys on the right side of the keyboard. Finally, there is 8 GB of internal memory to store your settings.
